  1. Pretty sure that z33 brembos are 330mm. Some 345 discs will fit if the design on the wheel allows it. How much free space is behind your wheel.
  2. Real shame this, now that the weathers improving hopefully more will be taking pictures and entering them.
  3. As many of you know my intention was to get a meet going in march in the Dorset area, most likely a cruise out from Swanage to Poole. with some fairly good weather atm, I suggest are hash of this non starter... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?160093-upcoming-south-central-mini-meet-and-cruise&highlight=swanage So who's up for it and what sort of dates would be good? I am thinking a Sunday. Open to suggestions of modifications to that plan as well.
  4. Hi guys for some reason a few of you it spits back the PM apparently you don't wish to receive PM's, possibly because were not "friends" that's a bug to be worked through but hey. So anyways.... To overcome this and make it available to Regis, here is this months: Hi guys, So March is here, where an earth did that come from? Longer days are coming and the last few days at least have seen some good weather. The long term forecast seems to be for this current fog/overcast conditions mixed with sunny days to continue through this month. so maybe we can squeeze something in before the end of the month, the previous plan was to have a meet going through from Swanage. I’ll fire up a topic in the south central forum after this has gone out and we can discuss some options for dates etc. So what's new? Well currently I think most of us are still SORN, mine certainly only came off that on Friday ready for this weekend. So obviously very little is going on. I've personally got a few little projects on the go which will be coming up on here as they happen. As a side note to that if you are doing things track days, cruises, or a local meet that's coming up please let me know so I can publish this, even if it’s afterwards to share some pics with other members. Equally if your struggling to meet your deadline for getting things sorted before the spring let me know and we will try to drum up some help if you so wish.... :D A meet has been drawn to my attention, which can be viewed here. It’s pitched to be fairly big, limited details at present but I will keep you updated. Current set date is May 24-26th Current details are here; http://bournemouthwheels.co.uk/whats-on/ Equally this one was brought to my attention by Sdriver73, on Easter Monday. Unfortunately I won’t be in attendance as I’m on call and my parents are coming over to England to stay with us, so im otherwise busy. Again I’ll pop that up as a thread in the south central zone and try to drum up an attendance list. Link for the event is here; http://www.springvehiclemeetandautojumble.co.uk/ That is really about it at present, if you have anything extra to add for us just give me a PM Happy Zeding.
  5. I'm taking mine out anyyyyy minute :)
  6. Or it's jammed up tight on it so it turns...iirc the splined section of the clutch plate is an inch or so thick. If it's 2cms even all the way round your likely .5 of a cm into the clutch plate. Just keep wiggling and persisting eventually it will just go clunk. Then you will be wondering what all the fuss was about.
  7. Mjp sells them and the price is very competitive, certainly cheaper than zcentre.
  8. It can be a real *******. Me and Hellraiser struggled like hell with one once and ended up taking it back out the car to check everything. This was midnight and it was 3am before the box was finally home, there was nothing wrong with it we just had to try harder. Mine was also a pita, the first time. My father in law ended up getting hold of it and just manhandling it in, then we did the bolt trick we did on when I did it with Hellraiser. The second time we dropped the engine onto the box and it literally fell in, we used the old bolt trick to get it home the clunk of it going home was heard pretty quick and remember us both being like ey? Is that it? That can be it already.... The one thing I would say it make sure the clutch is aligned properly.
  9. Mine useless unless it's bone dry out there, need new rears they're below 3mm now
  10. Haha, if I was a fat sloth I could just fill the boot full of audio and cut my losses...
  11. 3.76grms actually it makes me 0.000000000000000001 faster to 30mph
  12. In his black late spec zed, just sat in the traffic car looked awesome. In Bristol about 5ish yesterday.
  13. That's seems a bit doom and gloom. My cars a 90 grey import so is tested as a precat there is no reason why a healthy vg30 shouldn't pass a precat test, if it doesn't then we need to be looking at why in the first place, equally larger turbos and injectors shouldn't increase emmissions at idle as per the test.
  14. Lol, I'd be knackered too these days. My bmx is collecting dust
  15. Haha, lower that saddle immediately! Bmxs are not Made to be sat down on, the saddle is only there for when your stationary and to soften the blow when it bounces up between your legs. Once your muscles adapt though you will be surprised how quick and agile they are. You will however wreck your knees lol.
  16. Mind was imported in 2004 incidentally.
  17. You'd think you would find a better use if your time lol oh btw my parcel arrived, so there's a pair of large red things in the fish tank room now :D
  18. Excellent stuff, I hope to see more of the Hong Kong based fairlady's
  19. If you can't get it out the plenum off you won't be getting it out till the engine has to come out haha. Really shouldn't be that bad if your reasonable spanner savy.
  20. Hrm, he fact that you've had discussion with jeff surrounding Pcv if they are culprit they are so cheap through MJP. As for the rust well that's life I guess, learn to weld you will save serious cash and gain a life skill.
  21. Thats great news, i wouldnt be suprised to see some blue or grey smoke where its been sat for a while and the exhaust has got full of dust and crap, get her warm and keep calm :D wonder to see it up and about though
  22. Thats areally nice space to have i think, i did toy with some garages round the corner from me but apprantly the local rats set one on fire recently....i think its probably safer with me.
