  1. Cheers guys, I'm finding ways to enjoy my car legally and this is on my list of things to try.
  2. I can see how that could be an issue. It's about 2.5 hours away for me so an expensive joinery for a big traffic jam and not even a miles worth of track action lol.
  3. I personally haven't run a quarter mile before, I've looked at those various events and Rwyb Sundays, which are obviously the easiest way to get a go at it. However, I'm guessing from previous pics etc it's damn busy, getting 3/4 runs a day, that sounds boring. One fat long traffic jam. So what's the deal? Is it always that bad? Is there a quiet time or a way we could get a few of us together on a weekday for a zed only session? Also it says that if your expecting to run +110 mph passes you need a helmet? I'm assuming that it would be wise as that is potentially possible?
  4. I used to be a vinyl wrapper, I had to get out of it when then they moved to CD. Too commercial these days, they forgotten about the music ma homie.
  5. Oh the one on the ball joint that holds the hub on? That thing is a prick! I gave up and replaced them together. Think it's a big bigger too ain't it 22mm seems to ring a bell.
  6. Am I reading that as I'm on track at 5 to 12? With everyone in that collum?
  7. You could apply air pressure to the wastegates to see if they open. However I think that's a going to be hard to see the drivers side, and b unlikely the cause. Have you done a boost leak test?
  8. You shoulda sold it down the pub lol
  9. Did you wrap inside the targa area, ie when the targa is out wil you see any silver?
  10. I'm very tempted to fit some yellow 55w normal bulbs in the fogs.
  11. I hear you there, the passenger moans more with the roof off though. It's too windy, my hair goes everywhere, etc etc
  12. Stop being a bunch of moan bags, if it's too noisy wear ear plugs.
  13. I thought about getting some steels knocked up, sidewall is king with launches. I'm gonna get some runs in at the pod this summer I hope.
  14. Series 1 steering wheel is the best looking. Hands down.
  15. I'm saving up for a 320d estate for her indoors ATM. Stereotypes are just fun. She drives a kia ATM but we call her carpark Colin, she drives at the speed limit safely on the road but as soon as she's in a carpark I think the redline is used more than brake!
  16. Their the new BMW drivers lol, last few years BMWs are the cars I'm stick behind with some arrogant lane hogging middle aged person in it and audis are the ones making a bully of themselves.
  17. Your surprised by thier attitudes? You have noticed thier driving etiquette right? Haha
  18. Trouble is, a find a half decent pair b cost of them c rebuild kits arnt common. For what those 20+ year old calipers cost you you can source some from a 350
  19. Yellow fog lights work best hence why they are often actually yellow. Think le man cars.
  20. Exactly that Richard. The stock brakes are than capable of locking up the fronts at 60mph mine sets the and off quite regularly when I'm playing. For a road car, the stock brakes well set up and maintained exceed the tyres ability to stop you any faster. There's simply not enough grip to make you slow down faster. Where big brakes come into effect is when the car goes beyond normal road conditions, 150mph braking repeatedly or simply repeated heavy braking full stop to that end. The heat cannot be processed off and as many find out a few laps often sees you with no brakes. For me the plan is for my car to become something a little beyond a mobile disco or show queen. It's a car that is and will be driven in anger and put some fun under its belt, a roads, strip and circuit. It will never be a race car but it will need the minerals put up with the stress.
  21. A lot of the yanky guys use the stock 255/16" rims for drag racing.
  22. About 400 for used 350 brembo calipers. Direct bolt on fit but defiantly more expensive, about 7-800 all in....
