  1. Ahhhh that makes more sense.
  2. Uk rear bumper, ukz plate...a vert...pardon? I thought they were all imports.
  3. Makes perfect sense to me make, I only wondered as I've been meaning to go get an intercooler off a golf or a3 to see if I can make it fit lol, plenty of them about.
  4. What intercooler a did you say you have? Ones off an A3?
  5. Cheers man, day 4 now seems to be relenting lol.
  6. Took it for a quick 25 mile round trip to the tackle shop today, running nicely. Aside from a leaking rear shock, damn it, at least the starter motor didn't fall off this time. Defiantly needs more go goes though. Then I parked it on my bomb site, I mean driveway sat there and drank a carton or tropical juice and admired it in the sun on my front step. Then I got back to smashing up rocks and coughing up snot :)
  7. Get it down to r33 weight? How much does an r33 weigh? Didnt think they were much lighter?
  8. I can't give you a number either, I know a member got about 370hp out if his and it started slipping, I believe that was a newish clutch. Best bet is to buy an aftermarket one as said, mines a stage 2 one rated for 500hp and 500ftlb so plenty if ceiling for upgrades.
  9. Can't get better than that.
  10. Might be worth a read, http://forums.nicoclub.com/the-consequences-of-an-ebay-strut-bar-t482616.html
  11. There's some if you look internationally, I'm guessing it's just for the looks yeah? So it doesn't matter so my about outright build quality?
  12. Pretty sure I've seen stuff from that before. Looks fantastic, lots of extremely high end muscle.
  13. Nothing quite like putting your foot in it is there haha.
  14. What's happening with the turbo one G?
  15. Nah auto. There's some good bits on it though TBF.
  16. Is pay about £400 for it, it's only worth parts.
  17. Anyone else think this is over priced? That shell is toast! m.ebay.co.uk/itm/181428870921?nav=SEARCH
  18. We certainly used too.
  19. 99 hands down. I really dislike that twinz front, looks like ebay tat.
  20. Lovely, be nice to see what difference it makes on the dyno
  21. Kind if struggling to understand what your saying there bud. As for your typing, it's not always easy, I am honestly aware of that. It often takes me along time to write out a post, my spelling and grammar is dreadful. It's got better, I have to sit and think a bit sometimes but genuinely it's pretty bad. My partner(future wife) laughs at my inability to spell everyday words. She has uncovered a huge extent of bad spelling I have, that I've previously hidden with hand writing that looks like it's just over excited. Part of it was/is the fact that I don't talk properly to begin with. For example there is no u in simular, the word is similar I only found that out about a year ago. If we go out to a restaurant, I cannot read the menu. I can literally read it, however the noise in the room etc prevents any of it going in, it's honestly a real struggle. Esp with non native restaurants where the dish description must be read to find out what everything is. I often just can't even be bothered so let her pick, the hour involved in finding something isn't worth it. So you see I totally sympathise with anyone who's written ability is lower than others, it can make life pretty awkward at times. As for the rest of that post, you've lost me. I can't see where that has become relevant. I know your having work done currently by mark, that's your choice as a consumer. There are favourite traders on this site, for the fact that they have long standing relationships with the club and it's members, that takes time. I don't have a preferred trader as such, I simply don't use anyone's garage services. I'm having fun learning about my car and getting my hands dirty, I'm pretty enthusiastic in that respect. My car has previously been worked on by Zedworld, who did a good job. Especially in comparison to the cowboys in derby known as "N#*+=? Autospares" who tbh wrecked my car and charged me a lot if money for it, that's where jeff had to step in. The club recommended him and that sorted stuff out. If I have a preferred mechanic, even though he hasn't worked on my car it's going to be jimmer, not only is he the closest, he's very experienced and I've met him several times and had help over the phone several times more, even helped me out with parts etc. So that would be my choice. Your choice is your choice, it's a personal thing. So I really don't get what your on about with people being liable for their comments. Anyways, I hope your issue gets resolved. No reason not to a professional is looking at it. If it is related to a vac/boost leak I will be chuffed as it means I'm getting smarter. If it isn't, which let's be fair is wholly possible I and others may learn something new. That's a good thing, I'm always happy to be educated.
  22. It's an expression, Too bark up the wrong or conversely the right tree. Essentially it means you've got it wrong, your looking in the wrong area or at the wrong thing. Equally to be barking up the right tree means it's the correct area. It doesn't necessarily mean your saying your correct, mearly that the hunch is looking good.
  23. Other than what I said in post #9 not at present no...however having read your other post about your leaking clutch booster it does make me wonder if I might be barking up the right tree.
  24. Isn't your car at marks being worked on mate? Seeing as mark is an expert it makes sense to get him to cast his eye on it and diagnose it, would it not? That's the advantage f getting an expert to work on your car, when mine had some head scratching niggles and I was unable Jeff used his vast experience and sorted things very quickly.
