  2. Good lad, sometimes the only way is to do it the right way.
  3. Dropped the back another 15mm
  4. So clean and stylish.
  5. It will be cleaner mid more complete than mine Pete, poor thing is really starting to show the signs of use. Scratches and stone chips, :( it was resprayed about five years ago. Il have to bite the bullet after Christmas as get it sorted.
  6. Ouch, just thank your lucky stars your ok. The police have accepted your account and won't be investigating further I take it? 3-4k to fix it seems pretty high, now it's been written off the insurance would be higher too, I think sadly it would be sensible to buy the shell back take off all the goodies and scrap it, buy another one and transfer what you can.
  7. Mine did this and despite my best attempts I couldn't find the leak. Turned out to be the master, leaking from the rear down the firewall. Once the carpet was pulled back it was all wet with fluid. Good as gold since i rebuilt it.
  8. A when you said little hoses I thought you were in about the ones near the waste gate.
  9. Don't take the little ones out they are there from factory. They are part of the safety boost feature.
  10. Just like gas and electric you need it, you have to buy it and therefore you get ripped off.
  11. Yeah smart roadster, yuk. I always think, thats a uncool car, when I see them. It's one of those cars people say "oh yeah, I've got a little 2 seater sports car" trying to make out they have a TVR or some sort, when you finally get it out of them it's an MX5.
  12. Or you could, soften up the suspension. Change the spring rate soften the dampers, not expensive, new springs are about £30 a corner. Get an extra back box welded in the exhaust to quieten it down and realise that if you use it chips happen.
  13. There certainly is, you just need more grip to take advantage of the ratio change tbh. I can't afford to have several sets of wheels with different tyres on etc so for me it's a happy compromise. Because it's not a drag car or a circuit car it's all about compromise, something I can play with on the road and is able to have fun at the track whatever discipline I choose to throw at it, it won't be best at anything but it will be fun, that's what it's there for after all. I've got a shelf full if half finished projects ATM need to concentrate really.
  14. Lol, il give you a text when I'm on the 34 and lay up in a lay by till you catch up.
  15. EVERY time I use it lol. It's a toy I don't take it out to roll along I straight lines at one speed :D plus the intention is to use it off the highway a bit once phase two is complete.
  16. You will be coming the opposite way to join the a34 won't you? I might, see you on the road.
  17. That's correct Scott. :D
  18. And that's why I've kept my TT ratio
  19. Cheers Noel, bit cautious of China turbochargers. Been looking at gt2560r off an s15 which are about £600 a side which is still quite expensive.
  20. Approx half 8 at Cherwell valley services please guys. Just off the M40 Address etc here; http://motorwayservicesonline.co.uk/Map:Cherwell_Valley We can then leave about 9 to arrive at about 10 at our final destination. Is there any interest in meeting SC members pre this say in the M27 or M3?
  21. Il be at Coventry. We've met, nick.
  22. Nicely done Steve, nicely done.
  23. I was on Monday, won't be back down there this week.
  24. To touch on this and bring into it a recent topic and comment. When discussing the lowering of the speed limit on the M1 we got into the idea of raising the limit to 80mph on motorways. One of the reasons it was dropped was because "it would alienate women drivers", let's explore this sentiment, what were saying here is that to be fair to women we shouldn't drive too fast as it's unfair. That is both stupid and sexist! It's a perfect example of how political correctness tries so hard, it tries too hard and it itself becomes predujuice. What I'm saying here is over thinking these things, make a big deal of the little things is worse than letting them slide sometimes. A word is mearly a mearly a word, it's context and intent that gives it weight. In short a joke is a joke, and if no ones offended it is simply a joke. If you are offended by a joke maybe you need to step back and think just as much as the person who made the joke, was it a joke? Was it funny? Was any harm meant? Life is short, humour is king sometimes we don't need to be so serious. If someone is over the line a simple, your over the line there buddy is enough to reflect it and spur an apology. Chill your a long time dead, there's proper issues in the world to worry about, bad jokes arnt one if them.
