Picture Request, Engine Bay
The plenum is done with BBQ paint, the rockers were done in normal rattle can gloss, that hasn't worked long term so needs redoing. The timing belt and everything else was rattle can.

Mine looks like this, needs a freshen up tbh after a couple of years. You get the idea though, bit different to the normal polished plenums etc.

Should I do it? 99 JDM Tail lights on Green Cobalt
Do it, the 99 spec rear will change the look of the rear to a far more classy and clean look. For Britian it's hot, highs of 32 and averages of 26/27 most days at present. Been like it a few weeks.

Coventry feedback needed and a poll for all members
I must admit I did have my eye on one or two undesirables that were lurking/stumbling around, that is unfortunately part of life these days. Fortunately as far as I'm aware there wasn't any issues.

I don't see how you can say that, Rolands felt uncomfortable with his car being subjected to some close up attention from joe public. The other ends of the lines were semi enclosed by a wall or etc, obviously most cars had a car on at least two sides, many three. Which meant bicycles couldn't be ridden round it etc. His car was open to the main through fare of public footfall, which was just an unlucky draw anyone could have ended up there. As Lexx already said if he felt uncomfortable, he should have said and he could have been moved. If Roland's felt uncomfortable in the location he was in, which I cant understand, in the open and venerable, he's entitled to feel that way. I'm fairly sure you were not actually there? I was, I saw where he was parked and I spoke to him at the event. The VAST majority of the public were spot on, I am however pretty sure if some one made you feel uncomfortable with your cars safety you would also be un-amused. Thankfully we all had a nice incident free day and enjoyed ourselves that is really what matters.

Front Light opinions
I'm not a fan of chrome inserts either, the dark inspects give them depth.

It was a great event, well organised well attended esp considering the weather. I do think though if it was every year it wouldn't be the same. Variety is the spice of life and all. Certinatly the central location was helpful, despite the dreadfull weather it still didn't take that long to drive the 150 miles each way.

best place to source new tubs
Just feels counter productive as rebuilding that stock tub will cost me £200 odd quid to stop it smoking, but at least then I Abe a good pair to sell when the time comes.
