  4. Here you go buddy, this is what I used. HTH http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Heavy-Duty-Spray-Adhesive-Glue-Car-Carpet-Materials-/190492629798?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Glue_Tape_EH&hash=item2c5a3edb26
  5. Great news, congratulations to both of you.
  6. All being well I should be going. Car is due back from the bodyshop on friday. I live in Twyford, RG10 if thats any good? Also will the bits you need collecting fit in a Slicktop?
  7. Love those seats in the versionS. Both cars look awesome, keep 'em both as they are IMO. I think it would look better with the spoiler but a car that rare and in unmolested fantastic low mileage condition should be left to age gracefully as it is. Fabulous cars mate.
  8. I like them alot. Nice price too.
  9. Awesome work as always. Enjoying watching this come together, going to be absolutely stunning. Top top work mate.
  10. Cheers buddy. I'll find the link tomorrow for you. About 4quid a can of eBay.
  11. The swb boot is larger at the bottom than the top so you have to cut it in to two halves. At least that's what I did. Mine is 18mm mdf. Easy to do, just lay your boot carpet on the sheet of mdf, draw round it and jigsaw. Cut down the centre line and cover. Simples.
  12. Cheers chaps, didn't take too long Paul. The spray adhesive was pretty good stuff (we'll see if it lasts!!) Already thinking of something a bit different with 2 10" subs. Got to get it all in and finished first though, lol. Need to hear it when it's all set up and then decide what's next. Fitted a new amp and I am more than happy with my existing fronts (hertz) and rears (JL).
  13. Love seeing shiny new parts being fitted. I bet it's not often you have all the parts supplied and to hand like that. Fair play to the owner. Like you say Jeff, I bet it makes it a nice job.
  14. I got myself some acoustic cloth and spray adhesive of eBay and this is the result..... .....and with sub fitted......... .....just need to get the car back from the bodyshop now!!!!
  15. Happy Birthday cupcake!! :cool3:
  16. That's crap news mate. Hope you find something soon.
  17. I hope you get a flat tyre!!
  18. All this talk of bans mikey. Have you been 'ban'daged up or something?!
  19. Right, my turn...... If you are a buyer they are all over priced, if you are an owner looking to sell they are way under valued. Doesn't matter if it is a Zed, M5 or whatever, that is human nature. I like most would put a value on my car that buyers would probably feel is too high (5K). It wouldn't be what i've spent on it as it's not a 10k motor, i know that. But the money i've spent is to get it how i want it. It is not to make money or to get back the outlay. I agree with you guys that believe they are undervalued though. I don't think it is all the fault of the recession, it's a combination of low disposable income, rocketing fuel and insurance prices and most of all the belief that it's a waiting game for something to go wrong with them. The educated will maintain them correctly with new quality parts/labour from respected companies/individuals who know their Zeds. Or if you are lucky enough to be that way inclined will save a pretty penny and be able to do the work themselves. The prices they command are outside of our control, market forces will dictate them. Basic micro economics, supply and demand. However, when good examples come along at premium prices it's not a bad thing. The seller can always lower the price. I'm not actively looking to buy or sell at the moment so don't look into prices too much. I'm sure if i do come to sell though i'll be gutted!! Just my 2pence worth.
  20. Now it's just eggscruciating. I think we should lay it to rest.
  21. Think you might be onto something Jim. Judging by the OP's previous well informed and educated posts this does seem a little strange on reflection.
  22. Seriously? You are an ex paramedic and you feel it is okay to drive after 5 pints?? I am quite shocked by this, that and the fact you don't think you'd be over the limit?
  23. I've scrambled my brain for ideas, i'm now fried so i'm off to Kentucky :yinyang:
  24. Were you born at easter by chance?
