  1. I fitted a blitz sus a few weeks ago, apart from that it is standard. Has a quality aftermarket exhaust and that's it thus far.
  2. Are they worth the money at that price?
  3. As some of you will know I have thus far concentrated on getting my Slicktop looking good, smoothed, resprayed etc. I have also had a complete overhaul on the handling side of things. MeisterR coilovers, adjustable arms all round, hicas lockout(DW) and polybushed rear. Now it's time to start on the engine!! I have just covered 3000miles so was going to book her in for an oil change and basic health check. I am after some considered and knowledgable advice/suggestions on how best to approach improving performance. I am a complete mechanical numpty so will be getting all the work done by specialists. I still have to arrange the fitting of my manual conversion so I am on limited funds but if you guys could give me your advice it would be greatly appreciated. Obviously I would purchase a suitable clutch for any likely mods to be fitted when converting to manual. Thanks for any input in advance. Daffy :cool3:
  4. You should never feel ashamed about going for counselling buddy. You have realised you need help and have been emotionally intelligent enough to seek some help. Do what you need to do to help you through an obviously upsetting time for you. As said, and as you've probably realised spending quality time with your friends and rediscovering your old self will all help the healing process. It's far too easy to just say keep your chin up/man up etc. By seeking help and trying to sort yourself out you are doing exactly that, i.e. manning up. Now phone your mates and go and sink a few cheeky halves. Daffy.
  5. Happy Birthday fella.
  6. Looks fantastic mate. I too, am loving the contrasting ducts. Your man has done a top job.
  7. 15 for me. Schoolboy errors!!
  8. Looks great mate. Subtley updated in a classy way. My kind of Zed. Top work fella.
  9. Your car is filthy, and I'm undecided about 'maroon' Zeds  lol. She's gonna be a beaut Ian. What wheels are in the bath?
  10. Baz you could make my car look amazing. Smooth Slicktop Zed, top camera and photographer plus wicked location. Name the time and date dude. Beers'll be on me.

  12. Post a question on here fella. Loads of knowledgable peeps. Unfortunately i'm not one of them!! I'd like to know too as i want some red anodised ones lol.
  13. Just went to buy it and all of a sudden there is no "buy it now"!! Someone on here doing a bit of upselling? Would of enjoyed the read and put it with the rest of my cars bumpf. We'll see how the auction pans out.
  14. Would you guys say it's worth the 20quid to get the one on eBay?
  15. They're the ones :thumbup1: They look mint mate. And yes you can get blue anodised wheel nuts, ebay is your friend :tongue_smilie:
  16. Are they the gt-R wheels off eBay chap? Been looking at those and if they are, now i've seen them on a Zed I might have to get saving. Again!! LOL.
  17. Looking good fella. Loving those wheels.
  18. pm'd. sorry for being slow, thought it was all in hand. my mistake.
  19. Do I need to send you my details Chris? Pretty sure you should have them.
  20. That wasn't the impression it gave mate. You were obviously asking as to avoid any future problem occurring. It would of been easy to plead ignorance by not asking the question. Fair play to you.
  21. Thinking the same grey as the bumper bar/roof bars might tie it all in together like you say. Especially with my current wheels, really liked the look of Jeffs though. Decisions.....
  22. Point me in this direction Pabs. A meet in Maidenhead you say? That's my neck of the woods old chap.
  23. Everyone loves you Mikey :tooth: Apart from all those you've tried to get a :ban: !! Which after the last few weeks probably means you're right and it is only your car that loves you :smartass::lol:
  24. Do the right thing mate, if there is a chance of it doing permanent harm and you do it knowingly just before you sell it that's pretty poor behaviour dude. Get the cheapest 'proper' oil you can. Then sit back and wait for the positive Karma.
  25. Keep the opinions coming guys. My pads have only covered 3000miles but I had to get some interim ones due to a wrong order. Looking to replace mine again now, any recommendations? Preferably personal opinions of ones you've tried, some of the pads are well expensive!! Is this extra cost justified? Not trying to hi jack this thread, just keep it moving nicely.
