Loving my new manual box!!
Nice one Paul. That's great news. Fair play to you and Wendy, clear to see you've bonded and can I just say, you make a lovely couple. :innocent: My mate is called Dan btw. I dropped your bumper off at his bodyshop when we left Andy's. Need you to get us the paint code again, we both forgot it. Oooops!

I thought my spelling was bad. That has to be a wind up surely?

Polishing Plenum
I reckon I might find it theraputic. Trying to stay out the boozer and need things to occupy me, only so many times I can set up my Bspec driver, look on eBay at sh*t I don't need or want, and constantly push the 'new posts' icon :helpsmilie::bored::helpsmilie:

Cheers groover. You have convinced me it's not really for me. Might look into the colour coding option instead!!

Polishing Plenum
Think i'll just design and build a new boot set-up. Forget about the practicality of getting to the spare and go 'all out' on one.

Polishing Plenum

Polishing Plenum
Figured that might be the case. Still interested in the process though.

Polishing Plenum
Is there a definitive 'how to' or guide anywhere that details how to go about this? For those that have done it would you advise i give it a go or not to even go there? As i'm not mechanically minded at all i'm looking for things to do on the car for me to have a go at.

Managed to do a bit more
15mins? So I just need skill and patience then lol.

Managed to do a bit more
Excellent work mate. Sort of thing I wish I had the time, skill and patience to do myself.

tinting rear lights
It's your car. Do what you want with it. Be a pretty boring place if we all did the same. But as you say you have the benefit of photoshop to hopefully avoid doing something you regret.

Cracked lights fixable?
You bought them?

tinting rear lights
Not to my taste.

Where do I start?
Let's call it 10 o'clock then. Dan(painter) wants to see the car anyhow and he can take a look at Andy's too. If it doesn't pan out tomorrow we'll sort something out.

Where do I start?
Cheers Paul, thanks for the kind words :cool3: Always nice when others appreciate the effort that's gone into it so far. Good to meet you and i'm sure we'll have a few more beers soon. EDIT: Yeah, cool. We are aiming to be over at about half 9. But thinking that might be a bit early for you guys?

Where do I start?
I could just get some neons and try and mod an escort cossie 'whale tail' to make it look faster lol. On the look out for brakes as we speak Al. Like the sound of your £400 option on the other thread.

Interior colour combinations
Looks spot on mate. Apart from.......................those mats!!! I take it you have a set for 'best'? Love to see your car in the flesh. Really like how you've gone about it. Hope mine will get there one day.

Is that yours Alan? Loving that matey.

Where do I start?
Not long now Pete, met up with Mark yesterday. When it's fitted mine and Bob's slicktops will be very very loosely related :tongue_smilie: Can't wait to get it done now. :thumbup1: Sensible me feels a well sorted standard engined manual slicktop is more than enough for now. Just in time for the better weather too.

insulating roof
Can do, especially if you haven't got a breathable felt. I'd personally use rigid kingspan/celotex between the rafters, underdraw it all with 25mm of the same and then use foil backed plasterboard. Money spent now will save you in the long run. Once you've finished and decorated it you really won't want to be redoing it if you do encounter a problem. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

Fantastic Daz. Love it.

Which Exhaust?
Now now!! I've just seen some brand new one's at a very tempting price. Clutch and flywheel are a bit more important right now though.
