  1. Had my weigh in today. Just under 6 weeks since I joined the gym and pre skiing target was to lose 4% bodyfat. Ended up going from 23% to 17.5%. So cut by 6.5% in that 6 week period. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Self praise is no praise but I am well chuffed.
  2. As some of us like to budget for future Zed expenditure I thought I'd just give some advance notice of a few things i'll be selling shortly. I am going skiing for a week but will post up the relevant For Sale threads on my return. Anyway this is what will be available: Full manual conversion including brand new clutch/fly combo. My SWB boot install. Vibe, The Slick A4 Amp. As new in box. Headlights with chrome inserts. S2 Aircon pod and ECU. Bose enclosures. SWB spats. JL audio 6.5" co-ax speakers. Posssibly Sony headunit and Hertz ESK 165. Rear perspex strip and new decals (Mark has first refusal on this) There may be a few other bits but that is pretty much it. So some nice bits for you to think about. See you in a week :yinyang:
  3. Welcome along fella. I shall be driving a 250 quid banger to Barcelona from Calais in June, so is Sir Charles on here. Maybe we could have beers and Zed talk. Good times
  4. Thanks guys, is swapping it something even a numb nuts like me should attempt?
  5. That was my understanding too, but the only result I got from a search was that it was in the drivers side to the left of the clutch?
  6. From doing a search I believe it is located in the drivers foot-well. Is it easily accessible? Thanks chaps.
  7. Nice one Al. That should do wonders for your image. :clown: Are Mum and Charlie back at home now?
  8. According to Dan, the technical term is Piano black. Volvo do a black called Deepest Black, and it doesn't get more black than that. HTH bud.
  9. I'll ask Dan who did my car bud. See what he comes back with. He's just done my mates MR2 in black but he wanted a slight silver to it. I'll see what he says about "black black really black jet black as black as black can get black" okay?
  10. Excellent news. You deserve it more than most. Enjoy!!
  11. Dave you are one relaxed dude.
  12. It's well worth a phonecall. They will advise you on the correct product for your specific needs. I last used the stuff they advise for low temps. Guy keeps his mint DB7 and Rudge bikes in there. These are two of the bikes, which have no relevance to your question but they are awesome bits of kit. Didn't get one of the DB7 unfortunately, he timed the service around us doing the garage lol.
  13. I have used the professional stuff from these guys. Not cheap but fantastic products and the customer service is exceptional. http://www.watco.co.uk/?gclid=CKv1nMuasK4CFSMLtAodCy9RSQ
  14. Happy Birthday Marty. Hope it was a good one bud.
  15. Some good stuff there chaps. It's all good broadening your musical tastes imo. So much stuff out there that goes unheard, even well known and popular music.
  16. Thanks again guys for all your advice and input. Much appreciated  I am lucky in that a freind of mine is a qualified PT and the reason I joined that particular gym even though it was way more expensive than other local ones. I try and train around his availability so essentially get free one on one. He sees me as a bit of a 'project' lol so hopefully I can maintain my motivation. I am going skiing on saturday so had that to aim for. We'll be setting some new goals when i'm back. Thanks again, Daffy.
  17. It's that time again. For your enjoyment peeps
  18. As someone who has looked in on most of the threads that seem (at least on the outside) to have caused all this trouble I am just in total disbelief. I haven't met you Gary, but I like you, if that makes sense. I am sure there are many many members with a similar view. I try not to get involved in these type of threads as it can appear you are 'taking sides'. I'm not on anyone's side, I frequent both sites as a matter of course, and as you say, why shouldn't I? It's just my opinion but it seems there is a personality clash between certain individuals/mods on the two sites. Whether this would be the same in person as opposed to via a keyboard i'm not sure. On here as in life I pretty much get on with everybody, so it saddens me a little that people just can't get along. I am left shaking my head in utter bewildermeant at some of the 'conversations' that have been had on the two sites in recent times. But there comes a point when sometimes you just have to hold up your hands and concede "It just ain't gonna happen!!" I wish all of you involved, but especially you Gary as it's your post, the very best. Sometimes it's easier said than done, but try and rise above it all. :yinyang:
  19. Now you know i'm no mechanic but wouldn't something like this work? http://www.toolprofessional.net/B0002SRGXY/M/B0002SRGXY.htm Using this kind of principle; I await being told what a numpty I am :scooter:
  20. Nice thread this :thumbup1:
  21. How quick?!!!!
  22. Is this the stuff Bob? https://www.mutantnutrition.com/bsn-syntha-6-2-2kg.html I feel loads better all ready, i'm generally 'happier' and my sleep is improving too. Which having suffered from insomnia for years is nothing but a good thing. One of the guys I know swears by creatine so i'll get some of that too :cool2:
  23. Thanks Bob. I am a proper veggie. Never eaten fish, and like i say only recently tried eating meat but just can't get my head round it. Just not for me. I'll have a search for that syntha 6. Appreciate the advice and encouragement. I need to remember to be realistic and not expect instant changes I guess.
  24. I bet he wasn't allowed toys as a child.
  25. I'm trying to vary it up with circuits, kettle bells and Vipr training along with cardio and resistance stuff too. Just need to stick with it.
