  1. That is fantastic news Ian. Absolutely over the moon for you, and your little ones. All the best mate, Daffy.
  2. Out of interest what is "iron x"? Saw this mentioned the other day on here.
  3. Do what Dave said. :tongue_smilie:
  4. WOW!! That is spotless bud. Love a mint, stock Zed. I think I might be selling my mr2!!
  5. I reckon it'll sell mate. Good luck. You should of bought my Slicky with the conversion
  6. That isn't even close!! Did you pay?
  7. Andrew, your Zed is an awesome example. I love it!!
  8. It's a thumbs up from me
  9. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=61825&d=1321914621 Is this any help?
  10. Agreed. Pictures don't do the colour justice. Having seen AndrewG's and RichardSmith's in the metal it is a stunning colour on a Zed.
  11. I've never owned a dog but reading this made me really sad  Thoughts are with you guys.
  12. If the car is at the bodyshop. and I presume it is, they will colour match it anyway? Are you just getting the TT bumper done Jim?
  13. So would you recommend this as a first foray into the dark art of claying? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/sonus-sfx-ultra-fine-detailing-clay-sampler/prod_83.html
  14. Am I right in thinking FJ will only insure UK cars that are garaged?
  15. Yes, I use the 2 bucket method. Both with grit guards. No, I don't have clay but would like recommendations. I am going to use my van as a practice at this!! My last two cars have had full resprays so didn't warrant clay i don't think/ I have a few different waxes, not sure about sealant/ Thanks for all your advice so far. I am more than happy to pay a bit more initially to get the right kit :thumbup1:
  16. Thanks bud. My bad, it was a DA I was after as it'll be my first machine polisher. Would I be better off getting the basic kit and different polishes then? I think for the money with the pads etc included it's a pretty good deal?
  17. No need to apologise Gary, I appreciate the input.
  18. Gratuitous pic as I tidied up the rear valance yesterday.
  19. I have used these guys and yeah, their service is pretty good. The kits on the site are similarly priced tbh. I have had a few enquiries about doing some detailing as a side line so will recoup the cost fairly easily. I want one for my own vehicles anyhow. This is how my mr2 looks after a clean on monday Got some new products for the wheels and they came up pretty good So yeah, you could say I've got the bug :cool2:
  20. I think it's a fairly compact one Gary, similar in size to the Megs G220.
  21. What do you guys reckon who know more about this stuff than me. This machine is highly rated but should I look at cheaper alternatives. Buy right, buy once if I can. http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Britemax_DAS-6_Polish_Seal_Wax_Kit_1.html
  22. Nice job!! Did you use a machine polisher?
  23. Like Mark says, if you have the Bose speakers they have their own amp. Quite common for these to fail.
