  1. Smooth the stone chip, drop it a little, 18" alloys. Job done IMO.
  2. Gutted for you mate. Hope it all works out okay for you.
  3. If I hadn't have just bought the mr2 I'd be all over this.
  4. I want a brushless motor please!!
  5. He is an absolute cutie Baz. Glad to hear he is doing well and will be home with you guys soon. You should be well proud mate :yinyang:
  6. Allways wanted an Escort Cossie..... Big thanks to Markderby. We done a deal for the perspex strip I was selling. Already looking at 'hop up's' for it lol. Hope you like it :cool3:
  7. That is a 10 minute walk from my house, so I'm in.
  8. Cheers bud. I'll keep popping in to see if there are any meets coming up.
  9. Cleared some you hairy knoblet :clown:
  10. Are you Clutching at straws, or will you get a refund? We shall see. If what you say above is true (and I have every reason to believe you) it seems very odd. Sometimes people are mega busy and occasionally things like this happen. Just your luck it happened to you :helpsmilie:
  11. That looks the dogs danglies. Very nice!!
  12. Thanks mate. I'm lavishing the same attention on it as I did the Slicky. Even though I swore blind I wouldn't lol. Only had it 10 days and it looks so much better. I'm a cleaning freak!!
  13. Are knoblets allowed then?
  14. Thanks for the kind words guys. Appreciated :cool3: Makes it all fresh again though  I might well come and join you at JAE though, be nice to have a few beers.
  15. Cheers guys. If you are serious about JAE I might well come along, need to put faces to usernames :cool3:
  16. Exactly that Marty. Could have been a whole lot worse. Cars can be replaced. Oh and I've decided targas rule and black is the fastest colour!! :whistling:
  17. Pretty sure this is an open secret as a few members know by Facebook and PM. And it doesn't take a genius to work out why I have been selling all my parts off. It hurts typing this, which is silly as it's only a car but my Slicktop was written off a couple of months back. Buying the MR2 has eased the pain :mad2: but only a little. Didn't take loads of pics for obvious reasons, but here are a couple. Doesn't look too bad in the pics but you don't have to be too bright to work out the repair cost with new parts to know why it was declared a write off. This thread is not a discussion about me buying it back, doesn't look too bad, easy repair etc, etc. It is just so you know what happened. I loved that car and spent a fortune getting it somewhere near what I wanted. The wheels I have put on my MR2 would have been perfect, along with an Alcantara interior. That was as far as I wanted to go. Anyhow I would like to thank everyone for the welcome and help I've had over the last couple of years, it's been fun. I have met some nice people and there are lots on here I would have liked to have had a beer with :cowboy: Regrets?? Not meeting more of you and not getting to JAE. Wish more of you had seen it in the metal. Really was as good if not better than it looked in the pics. Thanks again and thanks for reading :sleep1:
  18. It's cool man, I really like those rims.
  19. Yeah, I hear you bud. I've kept the 16's that were on it and might get some standard 15's too. I don't really drive in a manner that the handling compromise should be a major issue, and I'm not prone to going silly speeds either. I got the wheels because of how they look tbh. I think they are gorgeous lol. With the ride height as it is it is really comfortable and the handling is fine. I am going to have to lower it though as I'm all about aesthetics  I want it to look perfect. Or at least my interpretation of it!!
  20. The handling is awesome. It has brand new MeisterR zeta-s coilovers, powerflex bushes and new control arms everywhere. No expense has been spared. I'm not missing the power and am loving being back in a manual.
  21. All in good time. A thread on the Slicky is imminent bud.
  22. Appreciate your honesty mate. I'm keeping the wheels in the sig also. They'll go back on when the weather turns. They needed new tyres, and the wheels with new Falkens cost about 200 quid more than just tyres. No brainer really for genuine Rays with fresh refurb
  23. Cheers Dave. I LOVE 'em!!
