Rot is a biggy. Check the rear sills, tailgate, engine bay. Bring something to jab the sills as someone may have covered it up with filler. This one of mine looked 99% perfect when I bought it :no:

ummm.. I think I would just be happy with my old one. Looking through the hole I think I can see where the pot was supposed to be connected. So maybe its been tampered with in the past. Plus that screw next to the led is missing as well. Dont seem to healthy to me ! Maybe I should send them both back and have him socket my one instead.

Sounds like they where talking about shocks/springs. Just get some coilovers as they are fully adjustable.

I bought a new ecu from DTA with a 555 map on an exchange basis. Just packing mine up to send back and noticed theres no pot on the new one Dan sent me. Just the hole with pot missing. Ive not opened his one as he's put white paint on the screws to stop tampering. I need the pot dont I ? If I send mine back surely I will be buggered.

TBH for the money I cant see it worthwhile making your own. Theres alot of cuts and curves. Plus you get the anodised washers and bolts. Its about 50 1/4 " long, 5 3/4" max width at the edges, 5 1/2" at the centre.

Looking at the completed auctions second hand there selling for £305, £320 and £360. So if it dont pan out I will just sell it and take a slight knock. Would have loved the scissor lift but I think its just going to be too bulky and heavy for my needs and space.
