  1. Very tidy, I bought an e34 525ix awd when it was snowing. Well built cars for sure, but mines a dreadful lazy auto. Would love to have the v8 now the snows gone.
  2. Yep was a bit of a shock
  3. Not touched the z for about 6 weeks. Thats not very long but the mould was really really bad, thick and green. The gear knob was completely covered in a good few millimeters  Anyone tried something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Caravan-electronic-dehumidifier-Classic-car-portable-x2-/190455821463?pt=UK_Campervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item2c580d3497 Rather spend a few quid then end up binning all the carpets etc.
  4. Couple of my cars are getting mould inside where im not using them very much. Any tips to stop mould?
  5. Ive fixed mine about 5 times now, currently its ylod and I cant be bothered. Lasts about a month after a fix. Search on you tube shows you how to fix it.
  6. I had one of those 20 years back, didnt look as clean and tidy as yours does now :)
  7. If you just want a rough idea you can guess for every 40bhp less 0.3 At the start at least.
  8. That looks like you need to be a bit handy making/buying pipe work and then who knows if it would be any better then stock.
  9. I always thought it was due to different parts that made it more expensive in that they have to be sourced. Although theres not much that is different and in most cases you can use the UK parts anyway. From an insurance view I guess that would have to fit say Jap brake calipers or Jap alloy wheels as they are different to the UK ones. End of the day the insurance co. has to fit what the car was made for. Of course they just make the rule to fit all imports, another import could have much more major parts different. The flip side is with the age of these cars any insurance claim would just send it to the scrappers anyway. So no parts required. Maybe a new insurance rule for import cars this old would be better :)
  10. I got one of those its rubbish 280lb is pretty useless.
  11. As a rule you can pretty much say injectors are good for similiar as their name ie 370cc good for 370bhp 555cc good for 550bhp 740cc good for 750bhp
  12. The ones that run down each side of the engine.
  13. Its fiddly for sure, but doable.
  14. Are the black hard pipes you connecting on seated properly. I just loosened them down by the turbos, placed a piece of wood on top and tapped them down with a hammer.

  17. Yep all repairable but if your paying someone else to do it will cost more then its worth. I just bought a welder, watched some youtube vids and did it myself with no experience. Really not that hard to do.
