My progress part 2 - DIY Fitting Wide body kit
The rear arches are very tricky to get lined up. I mainly focused on getting the side skirt / door area lined up and ended up losing it abit at the back stopping the rear bumper linning up. You can see the back sits lower. Was easily fixed by taking a spirit level from the back corner to the back wheel arch and then running an angle grinder through. Nice and straight again. Car mads 99 spec front bumper all lined up

Tow Rings - Can i ditch them
The instructions on my Zenon bumper said remove the the tow hooks, but I thought better of that and ended cutting out my bumper to keep them. Have seen on some weight saving guides to remove them as well, but they are useful.

How hard can it be......?????
Once in a blue moon you find someone at Halfords who nows something. I went to three Halfords stores Sutton, Mitcham and then Croydon to get a 16mm spark plug wrench all three had the same wrenches marked 14mm on packet in locked cabinets. Asked in each store as to, Do you have 16mm. Nope. Get to last store the guy says yep NP the 14mm is the length of the tool not the socket. So I explain Ive just been to two other branches looking at the same tool (from a distance in a locked cabinet) Then I say but its not even 14mm length its like 10" (hella alot bigger) Yeah he says its a printing error ! WTF!!

Bought a cheapo snow car
Gave her a good bash in the snow and ice and very impressed, even better then my old Range Rover. That was very top heavy, when it let go into a slide was quite scary. On the test drive in Forest Hill (you guessed, lots of iced up hills) he was showing off a bit and we came down a steep hill where he had to brake for a junction and we skated across the ice doing a 360 spin into oncoming traffic. I laughed but it was pretty scary :)

maybe a bargin not far from me actually
I never like the thought of buying a half done project. If it was easy/simple he would just finish it.

Ebay wide body kit
Ive heard the rear bumper is just a standard one that you stretch to fit. Not heard of anyone that bought the ebay kit, but spoke to Luke @ zcentre a few weeks ago and he was telling me some horror stories about them.

Fitting Zcentre wide body fuel cap kit
Anyone got pics of the wide body fuel cap install im a little confused. Also did everyone take out the fuel pipe to cut it at the neck, just looks a pita to remove. And the ali funnel does that mount to the backside of the fibreglass arch. Thanks

Your not supposed to wash offroad cars :) They will say because its a bigger car then a Micra it will cost 10x as much anyway. Quicker and better to wash yourself :)
