  1. I need to sort something my self. I dont like how covers touch the bodywork, traps moisture etc. Was thinking of one of these perambulator type folding garages as they dont seem to bulky. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=perambulator+garage
  2. Watched this yesterday, good remake on a classic. Worth watching, although the new Freddy is no where near as scary as Englund.
  3. umm thats strange mine dont have the odd bracket. One of Petes only had two fixing holes instead of 4. And I have stamped on the coilpacks 2x ma1 2x ma2 2x ma4
  4. I just got some chrome coil pack brackets from pete and noticed one is different. Pulled out two coilpacks and noticed they have ma 1 and ma 2 stamped on them. Are they supposed to be in a certain postion? if so how does that work where does 1 , 2 ,3 etc go. Ive had them in and out a number of times and sitting in the boot for months so have lost the original order. Cheers
  5. I was considering buying an air compressor but I dont really know if a budget one has enough power. Im guessing air tools need more oomph, couple of jobs I need it for would be for undoing the 27mm crank bolt for the cambelt and also for spraying the car. Would a £200-£300 compressor be suitable, what kinda specs should I be looking at. Would this one be suitable http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/hunter-55-air-compressor/path/diy-semi-professional-air-compressors-2 Its not something I will use very often, but Id rather spend more and get one that can do what I need. After I could sell it when Ive done what I need.
  6. Cant beat ebay for cheap 3 piece split rims. Picked up some Blitz 18" for £550. New your only going to get cheap 1 piece italian things for that sort of money.
  7. Looks good I won the auction after you, will have a crack at mine soon
  8. I need to replace some of the metal water pipes that use the id 8mm hose with hose but join then with little bits of metal pipes. How do you make those rounded protruding ends on the metal water pipes. Is this something I can get from b&q or halfords and does it have a proper name.
  9. Ive got to fit mine soon, so also interested.
  10. Cheers mate yes the little tiny hose I put on the PS res side. I got both sides fitted now so guess would not have fitted if wrong way round.
  11. The big fat pipes that go down the side, does the one with the hose coming of it at the middle go on the side with the power steering res?
  12. I just wear whatever I was wearing the night before unless the missies stole it. Then I have to find something else.
  13. The three way black plastic section that sits on top of the spark plugs has these zig zag narrow black plastic bit. Mine are all busted up and the rubber rings that go on the coil packs are perished. Ive put most of the car back together minus these two parts. Are they needed?
  14. Japan is usually cheaper no tax as well :taz: Ive bought tons of JDM stuff for my Lexus.
  15. Very nice wishing id bought that scarab now :)
  16. Why dont you just email the Japan side surely thats where they all come from anyway. Bound to have a shed load sitting somewhere. http://www.veilsidejpn.com/contact/contact.php
  17. Thanks  Ive got some sparkies on order from the US, I will wait to make sure
  18. I need to buy a new spark tool as mine does not fit, what size is it. Looks about 10mm
  19. Yep thanks, I know why I did it getting bolts in those lower ones will loose some blood :)
  20. umm I see what Ive done ive put the screws and rubbers in the lower ones and bolts in the top ones. Should of been the other way round. Cant matter much :)
  21. I thought the rubbers where just for the lower covers. I did the lower ones first and I have no rubbers left.
  22. When tightening the valve cover it cracked, did'nt even give it that much  This was the top one without the oil filler. Do you think I will get away with it, its on the over side of the gasket plus its a middle bolt rather then the outside ones.
  23. Granted I missed that bit, its hit and miss what the trade % will be Mine £78 to £48 is like about 38% cheaper and couple of Halfords trade prices are hb065 battery £69.99 trade £45.14 = 35% hb075 battery £74.99 trade £51.21 = 31% hcb075 calcium battery £84.99 trade £54.25 = 36% So I still win, plus I got a better spec battery :tt2:
