Could you not get your hand down there at all? I did mine with a mini copper pipe cutter as could not get pliers in there, not to cut it but you can use them as a mini one handed operated clamp.

I wanted to do away with the front bumper washer hoses, if I pull the hose out the res. it just leaks everywhere. Guess I need a bung of some sort. Whats the best way to ditch those.

Cant go wrong with a Lexus damn reliable. Was tempted to get an IS for a daily. My other Lexus Ive had 8 years and only had one problem which was an 02 sensor. My Range Rover is another story :helpsmilie:

Noticed a lot of threads recently where the underside has rotted. TBH mine is pretty clean but its not a car I plan to use TBH just a project and unfortunatly not garaged. What precautions should I take to stop underneath rot. Do you think a cover helps? I guess moisture just builds in the air anyway being outside. Also does mine being a UK spec have any better UK weather resistance compared to JDM car.
