  1. I like RX7s, I owned one very briefly. Bought one when I was 19 and could not get insurance! Needless to say I did drive it on the road for a few months ;) what a naughty boy I was back then
  2. They would not have such a bad rep if they were so good. Not all owners of an RX8 are going to maintain it to the level that someone like you would maintain it. As a result because of the extra care needed to keep these things running most of them on the market will be ticking time bombs. I know three people who have owned these cars and all three of them have had engine problems with two of them being terminal. Just saying. My advice would be to buy something far superior for the same money - - - Updated - - - Haha what a lemon I am, I thought the thread was asking about RX8 pros and cons not RX7. My hatred for the RX8 must have blinded me
  3. But if you add them to the list of why they are so bad such as the engine rebuild woes it becomes good advice
  4. Apparently in Qatar you can buy a litre for as little as 30p, not sure how true this is as the guy is sometime a bit of a fibber
  5. I would avoid them like the plague they are pretty much worthless these days and very bad fuel consumption probably worse than an NA zed
  6. The sticker plates look absolutely horrific on any car...I have gotten away with a 3/4 size plate for years on two 300zx cars and an MR2 turbo with no problems from the fuzzy muff
  7. I have seen this company plastered all over Facebook along with the likes of Herbalife reps and Juice Plus reps Was one of the things putting me off to be honest but i'm moving soon so may check it out. Doub't £200 will cover my existing contracts though!
  8. I feel bad now for keeping asking about my breaker....did not realise the extent of the issue I just thought solicitors, banks etc were dragging their feet...not the buyer!
  9. I wouldn't describe it as stunning, there are far better cars in our club
  10. I always advise people to take out GAP insurance on finance agreements, sadly 9 out of 10 people don't go for it! We have had many instances where this extra piece of cover would have been worth its weight in gold! Recently an old lady of 75 had her car written off by an arctic and she is in the exact same situation and I think she is about £3500 the wrong way - and didn't take GAP out.
  11. They look like bailey copies, and they already have the bracket attached to them needed to fit in the correct position by the look of it....did they come from an existing 300 fitment?
  12. Looks good on my Iphone 5, not slow or buggy and looks much nicer. The block contact feature is very handy for fending off undesirables and poisonous ex girlfriends.
  13. Your car looks very shiny Rosette....
  14. Don't be too hard on yourself, i'm sure he has enjoyed every moment of his 19 years with you and you and the family must of given him a fantastic life to have lived that long.
  15. I laugh at how most people in this thread including myself has gone off on a tangent so we are now comparing old games and remembering old systems instead of talking about a brand new state of the art title
  16. The best game is the original Sonic the Hedgehog game on mega drive. Nothing can beat the nostalgia of hearing Green Hill Zone Act 1 music, not even gay Mario Although having completed 'Last of Us' on PS3 last month....i'd say that is probably the best game ever made in terms of quality.
  17. "Previous owner speculated".....so that means even the previous owner didn't know the history of the car
  18. Great example there of never trust an owner describing their car to you, judging by the pics you posted the car is far from that condition - unless by showroom condition they meant a showroom in Chernobyl.
  19. MOT and serviced at my yard. All good for another 13 months!
  20. Spoilt by the stupid camber on the rear wheels
  21. Quite obviously a scam
  22. Today's youth are more interested in Facebook and their ****ing mobile phone than anything else and that is fact. We have had many kids on work experience aged between 15-17 and they are all the same...no common sense and glued to their phone screen. On the other hand, their eastern Europe counterparts are FAR more employable and that is a fact....even if they don't speak English you will ALWAYS get a full days graft out of them.
  23. I agree with Oliver. He is just saying what most people are thinking. Have you forgotten about the London riots and the student strikes
