Not a bad deal a swap, your Skoda is worth about 1.5k-1.6k in the trade.

Be on the look out for Bird.. using his alias...
There is a 99.892% chance that it is another Facebook bull shit story anyway. Much like the old Aussie Prime Minister myth saying that she was telling all the non OZ people to live by their rules or get out the country.

Insurance advice
I would be patient and just wait for the paperwork to arrive from the DVLA. I deal with them several times a week in my job and they are slow getting stuff out but that's just the way it is i'm afraid.

Moving out of the way for emergency vehicles
To be honest I didn't feel a shred of guilt anyway I just wanted to see what other people would have done in my situation. Guess I am not a heartless ******* afterall!

Moving out of the way for emergency vehicles
I wouldn't normally argue but that rule does not stack up in the real world. I only say this because I have run into the back of someone after they slammed on. It was (at the time) a brand new C5 and I was in my Xr2i which had no anti locks or anything of the sort. I was at the very least 5-6 car lengths behind him and I still could not stop in time and I slammed on nano seconds after he did. Thinking distances are all based on Maths and not taking into account the condition or ability of each car! So no, not fact

Moving out of the way for emergency vehicles
You could argue that cars with ABS stop better than cars without ABS

Moving out of the way for emergency vehicles
An incident earlier has given me reason to raise this question to my fellow Z drivers. Would you mount a kerb to let an emergency vehicle through? Earlier on I was stuck in traffic when I heard sirens approaching from behind me. As usual you see people mounting the kerb to let him through however I was in the Z and mounting the kerb would have taken my front bumper off due to the ride height. So I decided just to get as close to the kerb as possible without damaging an alloy. Because of the guy on the other side of the road (BMW X5) not being able to mount the kerb because there wasn't one the ambulance could not squeeze past us both. Now at this point I was getting the horn of the ambulance blasted at me and pedestrians shouting at me to mount the kerb. However I know 100% that if had done I would have damaged the car, added to that it was a much higher kerb than normal. About 15seconds later the lights turned green and we all started to move a bit so I managed to find a little layby about 30 yards up the road to let the ambulance driver past without mounting the pavement. There were pedestrians making the '****er sign' at me at this point. So what would you have done in that situation???

Yes I want to get in the ring too, hopefully our stag guide will help us get in there!- The future of the planet.....
Global warming is absolute *****cks. People who buy Hybrid and electric vehicles need a slap or a good kicking. Especially the people who buy them to 'save money'. By the time you buy a crappy new Lexus or Toyota hybrid you could buy an old V12 Jaguar, fuel tax and insure it for about 5 years which is about the life-cycle of the batteries in these hideous hybrid vehicles. AND you wouldn't look like a tool driving around everywhere! Plus those lunatics in Asia are gonna blow the planet up way before we have to worry about our atmosphere falling over. AND don't get me started on the 5p charge for a plastic bag rule. When I have one of my off days (like today, can you tell?) I really do feel like strangling these politically correct lefties with my bag for life- San Fermin 2013 - The Running of the Bulls
http://www.sanfermin.com/index.php/en http://www.bullrunpamplona.com/ I'm going to do this on the weekend, has anyone else been? I'm leaving Friday the 5th (my birthday - could potentially be my last??) and coming back on Monday. Also if anyone else I know is going this year give me a shout so we can meet up for a beer in Pamplona! Dean- calling all runners
I can second New Balance, I am a heavy runner (16st) and the ones I have are great and were only about £35. I wore Asics before that were supplied by the rugby club I play for and they were horrendous! Had bad knees, shins, soles ALL the time. Different shoes for different runners tho.- average yearly maintanence pot
The biggest expense will be at the pumps! Maintenance wise as with most cars if you look after them they will look after you..- Hotel room
When I last went to St Ives I stayed in a Haven trailer caravan and it was very cheap- GT-R Pistonheads
I don't mind the rear end part of the kit, but the rest of it I would bin. I also quite like the standard interior, could be worse could have a boringly hideous VW or BMW interior- GT-R Pistonheads
Shocking bodykit, the GTR looks great from the factory.... this one looks like its been chavved up especially the bonnet! - San Fermin 2013 - The Running of the Bulls
