  1. Nothing wrong with standard brakes in good order, my original 300 had them and I used to out-brake my mate in his Porsche Cayman at Llandow. Guess it has a lot to do with driver ability aswell. My second 300 had D2 big brakes and there wasn't much difference to be honest. OFF TOPIC: Richard I have emailed you, are you still picking up emails going to your 300zx.co.uk address?
  2. It takes 2 mins tops to tax a car online these days so there absolutely no excuse for not doing it when picking up a car you have just bought. You tax it using the code on the V5C/2W.
  3. I picked him up on Monday! We named him Twix!
  4. I've been a cat owner for many years but never had a dog. Love a good sausage which is why I am interested in a Dachshund puppy. Anyone have any experience with them? I am going to look at some 8 week old puppies on Monday with a view to buy so anything I should look out for and consider? Dean

  8. That car looks 2k max in my opinion
  9. My main suggestion is the fact that you do not need a diesel if you are doing 5-6k per year. Go for a petrol. What problems was the DS3 giving you?
  10. For £6000 that is used car money so I would buy something Japanese and avoid everything else - - - Updated - - - How many miles per year will this car be covering?
  11. Did I just click on a different thread?
  12. I had the original game boy, however mine had a smashed in screen due to Donkey Kong bringing out the violent side of me!
  13. You will be able to tax your car on a monthly basis via direct debit when it all comes in to force. I still wonder what the plans are for us in the motor trade though....
  14. Kid will probably get 10 years and leave prison in 6 - as under 16 years old. Personally I would lock the kid up and lose the key, this country is too soft
  15. Im in work, FRF Motors in Bridgend South Wales
  16. Most old motorhomes will be full of damp, although van conversions much less likely. I think if you buy an old one as a project be prepared to strip it back to the metal and start again
  17. They cost £12 each and most of the time its a lease deal we make nothing on so not worth it

  21. I have to counter this by saying the Ford Explorer is an absolutely GASH car having owned two of them! I have a Range Rover V8 you can buy off me but it will cost you a little bit more than £500 so pm me if you are interested and your budget is adjustable slightly...
