  1. Do you want me to give you a quick call?
  2. your code doesnt have any php tags, the line that says "This is a test page in php" is not PHP, its html.
  3. open up notepad.... type the following: <?php phpinfo(); ?> save it to your web directory (c:\inetpub\htdocs\ on windows iis or var/www/ on linux apache) as phpinfo.php then open http://www.yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php or http://127.0.0.1/phpinfo.php if it is on your local machine. hope this helps
  4. If you write a quick phpinfo() script what does it say?
  5. are you using PHP 5 or higher?
  6. Cheers for that.... I was going to give my car a service myself before I sell it, and wanted to get all the essential items done, But I have now decided to send it to my local garage and get them to do a full service as per their schedule. Got quoted £254 for plugs/oil/oil filter/air filter/fuel filter/coolant flush and refresh. Which is ok... and I know I can do it cheaper myself, but since I am selling, I want a reciept for the next owner to say it has been done.
  7. I do all my PHP code in either notepad or PSPad editor because I find that tools like dreamweaver bloat your code..., but from the symptoms your are explaining the problem could be due to your file associations being incorrect. If you open windows explorer use the Tools menu, select Folder options\File types\ find the php file and change the 'opens with' selection to dreamweaver. hth.
  8. Doh! you not subscribed so peeps cant pm you chin up messages!
  9. I have done a search and can't find anything for the service schedule/intervals for a Z32. I know the obvious oil change every 6k miles, but is there a proper schedule somewhere? e.g: 6000 miles: oil change oil filter change coolant change 12000 miles: as above with air filter 24000 miles: as above with fuel filter sparkplugs This is just an example, but does anyone have proper schedule?
  10. This is not actually correct. LPG is 114 ron fuel so you will actually get more power than you would get from 97-99 super unleaded.. When LPG was in it's infancy cars did lose power, but this was because LPG is a slower burning fuel and so needs a different ignition curve. Because old LPG systems couldnt interface with the ecu there had to be a compramise ignition curve between the 2 fuels hence the poor power and rough running... That is all a thing of the past with a modern digital multipoint system... you would be hard pushed to get one for less than 2k though... I would expect any system for £950 to be of the old type, and wont do your zed any good at all.
  11. A very good friend of mine has taken her Micra to a garage to have atiming belt fitted, and they have had the car for a week - and are now demanding £300 up front before they do any work and that the final bill will be £500 For a Micra 1.0? Is there anyone here who could fit one for a max of £400 hopefully less, in the west midlands area? Its a 2003 on a '03' plate. Cheers Steve
  12. Not seen him for ages?
  13. funnily enough, I suggested these last night, and the only one that caught his eye was the Jenson! I asked him why he needed 4 seats and he mumbled something about showing off for his grandchildren. all very good choices, but I dont think he is quite sold yet.
  14. My uncle has just retired and is looking for a classic car to restore as a hobby to keep him busy. He wants RWD - convertable - manual - and nothing new - it has to be 50's, 60's or 70's latest.... (remember he is an old codger). With a budget of upto 5k All I can think of is a Triumph Stag, Fiat 124 or Sunbeam Alpine/Tiger. I dont think condition is all important - because he has pleanty of time to kill now. Can you think of anything else to suggest.
  15. Did you spot it, or is it your new aquisition?
  16. I work with 64bit software all day long, and the support for standard apps is crap. you cant run office because there is no 64bit drivers for excel yet, lots of hardware wont work, again no 64 bit drivers. My advice is stick to 32 bit until 64 bit is mainstream.
  17. Contratulations, lovely family you have there... Well done
  18. That will only get worse self-employed, because when you dont work - you dont earn... so you tend to take less and less holiday.
  19. I am self employed and it can work out well depending on your chosen proffession, but the grass is not always greener..... Instead of claiming fuel, (where you have to show reciepts and offset private mileage) you are better claiming business mileage @ the current rate of 40p/mile. Yes you can claim the cost of tools. How many other temp workers who do what you do are self employed? If not many, there might be a reason why... and make sure you dont limit the number of agencys who will put you forward for work. I am happy to discuss the pros + cons further if you want, but my first advice is talk to people who are doing what you do and are self employed for their take on the situation. Steve
  20. Gratz mate, I did the Le Mans 24hr with those guys 2 years on the trot - but that was in a team of 6 - so what you did was a monster achievement! Well done
  21. Have you used one? My only worry with one of those is I want to incorporate the stream into my existing website. Because they have their own webserver - how easy would it be to do that? I am happy to take advice if anyone has used one or got it up and running?
