Dude, you should go yourself - no point putting on a pretence to get a job or you will only be miserable keeping it up with an image that isn't quite right for you. If they don't take you as you are - then its not the place for you. However, if they do take you and you haven't made any compramises, it will work out better for all parties. hth

I write fiction - I don't need to believe it. My last book was about being able to download someones brain onto a computer - change the code and upload it again (sometimes to someone else). Do I think it will ever happen? nope. It was based on a few minor facts and related research to make it possible. I just need the reader to believe there is a possibilty it could happen.

You say that, but you cant buy a manual 300zx anywhere for only 2k and it has leather and will have 12 months MOT.. I have to say I am really tempted..... Even if I just bung it in the garage until after the baby is born.

You can work it out, it will be different for different cars - but the rule of thumb is the less RPM you use the less fuel you use. In top gear you need to be going fast enough so you have enough torque to keep going and not stall which in most cars is around 2k rpm (but will be less in high torque cars and more in low torque cars). Depending on your gearing will be between 50-60 mph

A guy at work has a low mileage 1993 Manual LWB T-bar in gunmetal grey wit h Leather interior... He says the MOT has expired because he doesn't use it, but he is willing to MOT it for me - so there can be nothing wrong with it really.. Now I am saving for my baby that is due in december (the reason I sold my last 300zx) but it is a deal too good to be true.... what do I do? :D

X Factor?

I have 90% stripped my old ford cortina and need help with the last bit and and I want the shell removed. Some of you know I want to build a locost - but the project is slowing down as I get busier with other things. I have removed the interior, doors, boot, bonnet, glass, cooling system, engine and gearbox. I will happily pay someone to remove the suspension, axel and steering compnents and to take the shell away.
