  1. I had mine done - they took the leather from the rear of the seat, so it matches - then replaced the seat back with a close match, but you can't tell. All for £50. and quite local to us, Tamworth! hope this helps. Steve
  2. This guy is the new tuning god. I have emailed him for his secrets. Oh yes, 500bhp from an airfilter, exhaust and boost controller. I can't believe some of you have wasted thousands on forged internals, upgraded turbos, injectors and intercoolers when all you needed to do was ask this guy what to do and get it 'MINGS' tuned! !:rofl: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX_W0QQitemZ180291496279QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item180291496279&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C240%3A1308&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 On a lighter side - it actually looks very clean and I wish him every success with his sale - I just hope the new owner doesn't expect the same 500bhp that this owner has...
  3. are you trying to make a grown man cry?
  4. happy birthday
  5. Hey matey, keep your chin up - you have my number if you ever want to let off some steam.
  6. and for sale for only eur10k! thats peanuts for the work involved!
  7. Just seen this, get a load of that interior! http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://www.mr2forum.de/thread.php%253Fthreadid%253D42132%26tbb%3D1%26usg%3DALkJrhh99PEv9yDW3PB3qSJPiLQWKs6GVQ&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=de&tl=en
  8. One of those comments came from me, the day I picked up my first TT. in hindsight I should have stepped back and assessed the situation better - I had also been ripped off. I paid thousands of pounds for shoddy work work including an engine rebuild, and that blew up within 1000k miles - only to be advised it wasn't covered by any warranty. I would never reccomend them now - and have asked for my comments to be pulled - but they haven't. :slap:
  9. Well done mate, welcome aboard!
  10. sorry i thought you were talking about something else!
  11. I have seen the add, and am impressed with the quality of shine, but am suspicios of scratching my paintwork. If there is dirt and grit on my car, the last thing I want to do is move it around with a cloth and some wax. I do think that using it on a clean car would probably be the best solution... but then that sort of defeats the object. I would love to see the results you are getting - just to see if I am being over paranoid!
  12. Before you close it, let me know what the figure is.
  13. Pete, that looks great - but don't tone it - go for it and spray the whole thing! it will look amazing!
  14. only use raid 0 for drives you don't mind losing all the data on, yes it is faster - but you have no fault tolerance - which is the main reason for using raid. Disks are cheap right now - so my rule of thumb is, raid 1 (mirroring) for safety - raid 5 good alrounder - great read performance, but poor write performance - raid 1+0 - great speed + safety.
  15. yes, as i haven't seen any....:headvswal
  16. Si, have you seen any nice airbag wheels?
  17. great - let me know when you find an aftermarket replacement - It is in better condition than mine, so I will take it. I am a fan of the standard look.
  18. If yours is in good nick, can I have first Dibs? I need a new airbag steeringwheel as mine has all the leather worn round the rim...
  19. I am pretty sure all series 4 cars 1995 had manual contrals as standard IIRC
  20. I would be quite concerned about these imho - looks like a water trap between the skins and the wings. I reckon you could get some quite serious corrosion there and you would never know. I agree with Pete - while the engine is out, degrease it all and paint it.
  21. a quick test is to type in the ip address of the router, if you get a log in screen - try user name admin and password of admin or password. if you can get in that way, chances are your neighbours can too....
  22. yes matey, you router should have a way of listing active IP addresses. you should have enough security in place to stop this though...
  23. Wide arch kit, viper wings, 99 spec front bumper and you will have your zed back in no time!
  24. very sorry to hear this - glad your ok. Could have ended up much worse considering you were overtaking a lorry on a motorway. It's just a car - you can always get another..
