I need to buy some new wheels as it looks like I have buckled one of mine. I have seen a set on ebay 18"'s I really like but they are only 8" at the front and 8.5" at the rear which seems very narrow. I know the originals were only 16" x 8" but that was surely due to the fact that was big back in the early 90's and not what is considered optimal now. With people running wheels from 16" to 20" in diameter and lots of different widths, what would be the most optimal for a modern fast road - occasional track day?

I might have agreed with you, but since they are heated too.. I reckon it is a factory option, someone did spend a lot on the options for my car (airbag,cruise,electric passenger seat).

My mirrors auto fold in when I turn the ignition off, and I noticed today on the way back to the MOT testing station that they are heated too.... I have owned 5 Z32's in my time - and none of them had heated auto folding mirrors! Anyone else got them or is my zed unique?

ok - luckily I still had a spare set of wheels with good tyres in the garage, so swapped them over. While it was up on the stands I noticed that my shocks are bilsteins - so right result there - I have swapped the bulb and fixed the hazard light switch. The garage seemed really nice and there will be no retest fee - so all in all a very good day! Tomorrow I will have 13 months MOT because I still have a month to go on mine!

this garage won't fix it at all - they say I have to take it away and do it myself :headvswal But I knew the car needed nothing major - it has been a great car! and to think I was going to sell it for peanuts to buy an S4! I think I will keep itfor fun and buy the S4 anyway! The z32 really is the must fun you can have without a paddling pool, golden syrup and a big bag of feathers!

It needs a number plate bulb, one tyre and the hazard light switch isn't working!

my '92 has every extra you could possibly get for a zed and as comfortable as it is - all those extras add lots of weight - especially the leccy seats! I would much rather have a late low mileage example with no extras (light weight)... that is probably as close to a slicktop as you will get for driver experience.

we test drove the qashquai before settling on a honda FRV, we have not been disapointed - its a great car. our neighbours then bought the qashquai and parked side by side there is no contest - ours looks the bees knees! come and have a test drive if you want..

Stellaz, I can lend you and engine hoist and stand so you can pull the engine and do the cross member. keep the zed - too many are being broken - and yours is unique. I like it.

Green and cloth seats - should be cheaper than that....

Has this downturn in the economy affected you? And if so how?
