  1. You'd be surprised about the fuel: if you've got a TT at the moment the Camaro will probably come out about the same or slightly better (I looked at getting one of these or a Corvette for a while whilst I was looking at zeds). Not sure what the performance figures for the '92 version are but expect somewhere between 240 and 300 bhp (sorry, that isn't terribly precise I know), and a bit slower to 60. Lovely car though. If money grew on trees I might get one but the insurance scares me (LHD), and the fact that they're pretty much all automatics put me off too. That said, REALLY nice car. Very much a head-turner.

You can also enter the following search string in google: "how much is 0.5 bar in psi" Comes back with: 0.5 bar = 7.25188689 pounds per square inch
  3. Cheers Chris, he's got quite a range of other finishes for the zed listed at http://www.exoticwoodtrim.com/customer/pages.php?pageid=2. Think I might have to figure out exactly what I'm doing with my interior before I buy though... otherwise it could all end up looking very wrong indeed. :-)
  4. Hey Chris, you got any pics you can post with the kit on? Thanks, Bart

  6. That's just bizarre! Pretty nippy car though, considering there's two of them in there as well.
  7. Totally agree. This is very annoying to say the least.
  8. Hmm... you might be right about that. Bit of creative license there maybe.
  9. £1400 for a 106?!? Ouch! Mate, I feel for you. As for the zed, dunno why it hasn't sold. Looks nice (although I'm not too sure about the wheels, would need to see it). Only thing is that it says it has super-HICAS but it's obviously an NA being the cabriolet version, and I was under the impression that all NAs came without HICAS (regardless of being the cabriolet version or not).
  10. Oh yeah, and the alloys (sorry, I admit it, I'm fussy as you like).
  11. It looks like a nice example so I've no idea. I'm pretty certain it was also up for sale in January of this year (on eBay again) when I was still looking. I didn't bid for it because it was an auto and I specifically wanted a manual, and because I don't like single big-bore exhausts. Both of these are obviously just my opinion: to be honest it looks like a good car, nice and clean, and well looked after.
  12. He is brilliant. Listened to "Appetite for Destruction" again the other day for the first time in a couple of years: brilliant album, and his guitar playing is just superb.
  13. That wreck has been hanging around on autotrader (and eBay off and on) for months, possibly even since the end of last year. When I looked at the photos what put me off more than anything else was the fact that no attempt whatsoever had been made to clean it, which immediately made me think it hadn't been taken care of so I didn't even bother going to see it. The guys definitely having a laugh, however I'm sure he thinks that at some point some poor idiot will hand over the cash; unfortunately I suspect he's probably right. :-S
  14. Not had any trouble with police drivers like this, but know exactly what you mean about the 40 mph brigade. Used to live in Dorset and worked in a small village - got it every day on way to/from work. Very annoying. And the flashing really got up my nose. There's one thing I'd like to say to these people (not that any of them are likely to be on this forum): if you don't like being overtaken then chuffing well DRIVE FASTER!!!!!
  15. Daft question: what does a strut brace actually do (apart from look good that is)? Please excuse my naivete here.
  16. Hmm... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7984342022
  17. ...rocks! Only just got round to seeing it. Can't believe I've waited this long. Four of us went and the general consensus was that it's really quite good. If you haven't seen it then go and do so: it's definitely the best Batman film so far (possibly a slightly controversial view there, but hey).
  18. Yeah, I'd say the new server's made a big improvement.
  19. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
  20. Sounds like you're having a crap time there Alex. Sorry to hear it. Sure it will all be worth it in the end.
  21. I'd probably be up for this. Been wanting to go for years, just never had the chance.
  22. Just wanted to say thanks for correcting my stupidity, and thanks for the translation info to sideshowbob -- came in very handy I can tell you. Seems like it's not the fuses because they're all in perfect condition... and it mysteriously started working again when I turned on the ignition after checking them. So I did a reset to factory settings on the stereo and will keep an eye on it. The other thing it could be is a loose connection at the back due to a dry solder joint so if it happens again I'll check that. Cheers guys, Bart
  23. Strewth, that's impressive. You and your wife got a background in upholstery or something?
