Actually, i can honestly say, no. lol. Must admit though, i was expecting it. especially the Turbo'd cars to get the spooling sound.

I rest my case. they ALL sped off like loons lol. Just for the record, i'm not including the older folk in the classic BMW's in my previous statement :) Just the Young to middle age sporty BMW owners. Was a canny turnout for z's though, 7 in total.

I'm just not a fan. They may be good build quality but they just look so bland. That coupled with the fact that in my experience (probably a generalisation) that the people who drive them are cocks. no road sense, always speeding, always cutting you up and just generally think they are better than everyone else because THEY are the badge snobs and drive a BMW. Just speaking from personal experience and i realise that i am stereotyping. Nice pics there Jan. Funny how your sliver Z looks kinda white in that light lol.

Shame you couldn't have stayed longer paul, damn work spoils everything lol.

each to their own i suppose. I far prefer these lights. Much cleaner looking and more modern than the other lights available. Even the '99 spec lights are from well........1999. These lights give a far cleaner and more updated look in my opinion. MOT wise, these lights are perfectly legal.

I have these fitted to my car and they look great. I think they are superior to the '99 spec and they don't have that god aweful reflector in the middle of them. The fitment was absolutely fine and as long as the centre piece is well polished and shiney the match really well. Also delivry from the states was mega quick. Like 2-3 working days. Peter

The same thing happened to mine. Exactally. Coming up to roundabouts and the engine revs would fluxuate then cut out. Whacked a bottle of Redex in and gave it a blast. Seemed to sort it out (touch wood) Peter

Id say get something other than a BMW. Misubishi Galant/Legnum perhaps.

As a stopgap do your fog/driving lights work. You could either 1: use these when driving at night or 2: take the wires from the fog direct to the dipped headlights. Then use the fog button to switch them on. Not idealbut it'll get you back on the road at night.

I like the shadow chrome too.

The bodyshop i use are really good and i'd pay about that for a blowover.

Wow, that is really crappy luck. Hope you get it sorted.....not so much soon, but properly. Surely Si could take the engine over to the states on his next trip instead of clothes to save you the postage :)

Would it not just be better to sell the wheels and buy some that fit? Will save a lot of hassle.

Never seen a lambo with lights anywhere near that. Ferrari maybe. I think they only look good if you go for the smoothed rear lip spoiler and a notch back glass replacement to kinda make it into a half arsed Ferrari effort.

That's the only problem with apple products. Ipod, Iphone etc. You have to use iTunes. I would much rather be able to drag and drop onto my phone instead of having to use crappy iTunes :(
