After reading the rescued Sparrow thread thought i'd post this that happened to me last Wednesday. I was driving home from work when a Bird Literally fell out of the Sky and smacked into my door. I'm pretty sure it must have died mid-flight. I saw it coming down out of the sky towards my car, but it wasn't flying as it's wings were back, it then hit my door and part of the window with a great thud, then i seen it bounce off the road a few times in my wing mirror before it came to a stop. I'm 90% sure it was a Pigeon from what i saw of it. I had the window half down too so another foot higher and it would have smacked me in the face. all very funny but could have caused a hugh accident. i was almost positive it would have dented the door but luckily there was just like a greasy mark on it. I mean, what are the chances? the sheer size of the sky? a bird dying in mid air and falling to the ground? Then it hitting my car? The amount of variables that had to happen in a precise way are astronomical. Why do i NEVER win anything on the lottery :(

I'm using my Z as a daily driver and as long as i drive it like a granny to work, it's not that much more expensive to run than other cars really. Failing that, get a bike and cycle to work :)

Out of interest Steve, how much did the spray job cost? Also, did you have the whole car done, or just parts of it? I have a table style mid level 1995 spoiler for sale if you fancy it :)

My gaod, haven't seen this for years. Used to have it on Video but never got round to replacing it on DVD. Very funny film.

The "Bling" wheels do not suit a Z mind.

I actually really like that. I think it fits in with the lines of the car pretty well. if it was body coloured it would look much better. Was considering doing this to mine when i seen the Silver one on here with one on, but then opted for a fiberglass replacement for the rubber one.

I like the shape of the original spoiler. Mine is foam and crappy already so ordered a fiberglass replica from car.mad. :)
