Rare - You'd have to love your Z very very much !!
Are these standard on Jspec cars as the ad says? If so, seems like a hell of a lot of money for a pair of standard lights. Peter

My Yellow 300zx for sale 11 months MOT, 5 months Tax Excellent condition
HI All, A car that i have wanted for a very long time has recently come up for sale. Due to this, I'm currently selling all my cars to raise the funds. I have already sold my Pontiac Trans Am KITT replica this week and am now also selling my Zed and my Prelude. I have it listed on eBay today and here is the link. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321489251277?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 I'm not looking to make a profit on this car, just get back what i paid and the money i have spent so far. It stands me at about £2000 to date. I have put the Classified ad price on eBay at £2300 as people always try to offer less but if it was going to a club member i'd let it go for £2000 to get my money back. I've listed it as honestly as i can and i think the first genuine person to see the car will snap it up. Here are a few pics Peter

N/A brakes and pads?
If you're going for new pads i'd highly recommend Brembo ones. On my last Zed I got nissan OEM ones the first time and then the Brembo (which was cheaper anyway) the second time and WHAT a difference!!! Peter

Here Ya Go Thank you for your email received on 11/12/09. Your email reference number is 186847. The Road Vehicles ( Display of Registration Marks) (Amendment) regulations 2002 SI no. 2687 came into force in November 2002. These amendment regulations introduce a new regulation 14A, making special provision in relation to the size and spacing of characters in the registration number of some imported vehicles. These regulations also include the display of motorcycle sizes number plates on imported vehicles. The provision only applies to vehicles imported into the UK which do not have European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval, and are so constructed, that the area available for the fixing of the registration plate precludes the display on the plate of a registration number in conformity with the requirements of regulation 14. Also contained is an amendment to regulation 3, to prohibit the use of a number plate on which the background is patterned or textured, or gives that appearance. Where a vehicle has been allocated a UK registration number, the number plate must comply with the specification and standards laid out in the Road Vehicles ( Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001, as amended. Certain imported vehicles may be permitted to display numberplates with smaller characters if the vehicle does not have European Community Vehicle Type Approval and the vehicle's construction/design cannot accommodate standard size numberplates. The dimensions for the smaller sized plate are: • each character in the registration number must be 64mm high the width of each character of the number, other than the letter 'I' and the figure '1' must be 44mm • the width of every part of the stroke forming a character in a number must be 10mm the spacing between any two characters within a group must be 10mm • the vertical spacing between groups of characters must be 5mm • the width of a margin between the number and the top and lateral sides of the numberplate must be not less than 5mm • the space between the bottom of the number/character and the bottom of the plate must not be less than 13mm, but within that space, the space between the bottom of the number and the top of the name and postcode of the person the plate was supplied must not be less than 5mm. Do not reply to this email. Classic car insurance without a garage
I've never had a garage and always had at least one car on a classic policy with both cars being stored on a private driveway. I'm with A Plan at the minute and they beat the other quotes I got hands down. Peter

Some new pics of my Yellow Zed
Cheers guys. Yeah, the rear lights will get changed as soon as I get some dosh. Think I'm gonna go for the crystal ones though. 99 spec look cleaner and more modern than the originals but I think the crystal ones are cleaner and fresher again. I agree with you about the colour. Prefer white and had planned to repaint it at some point but it's in such good condition it would be a shame. Plus it's a really nice shade of yellow. :)
