i take mine in and out as one unit...take the drivers turbo ellbo off 1st and you dont have to move the steering joint or subframe.Ive made 2 brackets that fix to the 4 holed bracket under each side of top plenum and slide a bar across top of engine..this stops the need for chains or ropes and gives you plenty of controlled height over the front slam.

Zed boxes do need positive imput thats for sure and each change feels "gated" but they should not be crunchy when warm and upto temp...sounds like it needs an oil change and lads here sware by this paticular oil but atm i cant think of its name..hit the search button and see what comes up.

whats up with your box mate??? gearbox internals very very rarely all fail at once and normaly can be fixed by replacing a noisy bearing or two...worn dog or a mesh ring. Either way i see a grand £££ working out a bit on the high side for repair costs.
