For a council to recieve next years budget in terms of hard cash they need to show what they have spent this year and this is how its based..Now this saxon habit of road repairs based on granite chippings thrown over road tar is the cheapest form of road re-surfacing and to the suits down in central Goverment counting houses they just think the moneys being spent on re-surfacing and keep dishing out the dosh to the councils who for every £1000 recieved for road repairs only use a tenth of it on a cheap job as above and pocket the rest.For every mile they resurface using chippings then they would only get 100 meters using the traditional tarmacadam.

Iff you go into a motor factors ask for 2 ford transit diesel gaskets MKIII (smilie front) type..enlarge holes by 2mm and they fit perfect:wink:

this problem can be compounded by the viscous not breaking free on start-up..iff your viscous is faulty and stays locked up when cold then thats a lot of weight that has a job keeping up with the crank speed for the 1st few seconds hence the belt slipping and screeching..

there just plug and play mate...hardest part is finding a decent place for the ballast units and i wished they gave longer leads to solve this problem.well worth the money though and ive never had a problem with mine
