Aimed at the older members here but interesting to all. I own an almost new pair of purpose made 3 hole fitment decat pipes that overcome the age old problem of fitting Auto zeds without knocking the drivers side in with a hammer to fit and clear the bottom pan. The quality of the construction is the best out there and fit 100% perfect on the turbo elbos right back to the front of the catback including the OEM hangers from the bottom of gearbox.These pipes are special in the respect that they retain the turbo elbo,s not like the divorced type that needs you to fit down pipes from the turbo housing,they fit turbo and none turbo,manual and auto. They were supplied by an old member on this site called Dave Chung who ran a company called Petrolheads Northwest who broke and sold second hand zed parts who was and still is a good friend of mine. Anyway my question is does anyone have or remember this paticular Decat pipes that he sold and what is your feedback on them:wink:

buy a rotten or crashed manual zed with a good box for the same money and have a load of spares for free..then after its raped of parts get £200 for the shell at scrapyard.

I remember reading once that soaking the catalyst in oil then digging it out..the oil soaking as you go stops the bearing destroying dust floating into the tub cartridge.Hey presto a hollow and somewhat normal ellbo:cool3:

I think its a decat question Steve...and ile answer the second half for him. Iff you want to fit 3 hole decats on a zed from S2 or UK onwards it will have the single precat on i think the pass side aswell as normal cats.This precat if i remember right forms the actual turbo elbo so must be changed for a S1 normal elbo for a "full" decat. Ime sure there will be someone along to correct me if ime wrong but i think ime right on this one remembing my last S2 i had.

Also iff raising the finance is a big stumbling block then ask about a lease/buy....I have my own company and i heard about another roofing company for sale in another area years ago,anyway ended up buying it with a similar structure to lease/buy and have doubled my catchment area and customer base. Dont be affraid to talk and ask the current owners all options available as at the end of the day its all buisness and you would be very surprised at the unorthadox but legal deals ive done in the past which were not really mainstream ideas but it worked....Goodluck anyway bud as you,ve been through a shocking time as of late.

remember to build into your calculations that 450 plus ponies and too much grip on a bog drivetrain can start delivering snapped driveshafts and ripped tension arms ect...i see rear wheelspin on public roads as a safety clutch:D
