hi mate--to make a boost leak detecter is so simple,iff you know anyone with a lathe get them to turn a piece of ally into a disk so it fits into maf intake,its gorra have a hole drilled into middle to accept a wheel valve(glued in so no leaks),have the disk about half n inch thick.put into maf intake,pump up with a foot or hand pump to about 5 psi and listen for the leaks around engine and under bumper send all donations for this idea to brian@thelocalpubforadrink.com :rofl: :rofl: ps---or just go and buy one ;)

nice one mate for having the balls to go forward,after the cams come off pressurize one pot at a time with a compresser,i did this once on another 16 valve motor and butched a compresion tester for the plug hole fitment and conected it to a compreser line,the air should hold the valves closed iff its high enough. good luck and keep us posted as this could save us £££££££ iff it goes ok

no you can use the switch on or off the throttle,or play with it and use it as another gear up or down

this is the mother of fvk ups---when i bought my first zed many years ago i decieded to start down the road of tuning,first job a boost gauge,in the afternoon i was still lookin for boost pipe,20 lambert-butler later ide fookin sussed that i bought a n/a,well only half true coz the dude who sold me the car had took the tubs off and left them off and not told me. not a happy intro into the zed world,lot older now and a lot more untrustin of people

just to let you know that a zed nut fits a nissan cabstar pick-up and visa-versa in case you need a fast fix mate

hi there guys, as anybody had or got as above,my 93tt with 79,000km makes a whirling noise that changes pitch with a rpm increase, its like a cambelt thats to tight but mines ok.so the logical next thing would be the tensioner,what i wanna know is do these things whine before they throw there hand in ?????? thanks

its like this mate,iff your back wheels where 30psi each and you put a piece of rubber tube between them you would still have 30psi but only more volume.iff one was 20psi and the other 30psi the one with the highest pressure would drop to compansate the other resulting in a pressure between 20 and 30------------------ime led to believe :)
