  2. Nah full seal re-build and new fluid front and back and theres nowt wrong with these brakes on Zeds...the problem lies with pistons so seized after 20 years even 130 psi of air cant pop em out to re-build.

  4. Ive always had a thing for the USA chrome stockers and this is the next best thing without having 2 tubes of pollishing paste and rags in the glove box :whistling:...problem is with UK 16,s is the low choice and high costs of rubber
  5. I had the same issues replacing all my injector and coil pack plugs..worse thing you can do with these old looms is start un-winding the black factory tape:death: took me weeks to sort some kind of calm out and no missing

  7. Got them back today...very happy with the colour and finnish,much harder than paint and well up to the job.
  8. well that makes the job much easier then..from the bleed valve right down to the actuators.
  9. sounds a massive boost leak there Gary...get your self a cheap adjustable manual boost controler (bleed valve type) you can get them for £15 on ebay and get that plumbed into the actu lines...2-1 going in and 1- 2 coming out down to the boost solenoids,that then should give you a truthfull mechanical way of obtaining boost and also give you the facility of increasing boost to see iff it holds.

Things are moving a little slower here atm Richard and cant see me getting it out the workshop and cleaned up untill about mid march...Need to buy rubber,mount the 89 rear spoiler then clean and mop the paint (dont know why as its getting painted in may anyway) so rear light pics are running late. After reading your Sat morning drive thread its got me fired up again though:cool3:
  11. use a zed engine oil cooler..flushed out then mount it next to the original oil cooler and have a matching pair. Done this with mine as i have an ally rad too. It will run a lot cooler than a rad cooler as you wont have 90 degree water sitting on top of it.
  12. just use copper welding cable...how much you need as i have loads of it.

  19. Yep its a great Mod imho...a vented motor is a happy motor as you dont want any positive pressure at all in the sump.
  20. not that ime aware of mate but hell its only hoses and a vented catch can...there was a good thread going a few weeks or so back about it after i done mine and bumped an old thread.

My wife has the samsung and loves it compard to my daughters iphone 5 which as she points out is like going backwards...for what reason i do not know as ive just bought another 3 samsungs SGH 900,s giving a total now of 6:rofl: as these little old gems have everything i need in a phone. But going back to the "versus" my missus says she will never get an iphone as long as samsung keep there eyes on the ball.

  23. Big time good advice...these little devils cause more issues on these motors than are mentioned,or even better throw them in the bin and do a pcv/breather delete.
