  1. yes, my dad bought the zed way back then, i was intrigued by it and found this place, the rest is history. Been nearly a year now since he passed away, I took on ownership of the zed after that. Maybe i'll be able to get behind the wheel of the thing one of these days lol.
  2. Just had a totally random fact occur to me. My zed has been in the UK for 5 years now, was 10 years old when we imported it. A third of its life in the UK now, all under my watchful eye. How about yours?
  3. last time I saw it, it had unpainted viper wings on and mismatching wheels. Apparently it has scissor door hinges too.
  4. we should have our own section :p
  5. if they are stock nuts then a strong impact socket will do (snap-on ones will take it), hammer it over the nut with a fuking big hammer and unwind, simple.
  6. you can increase a/f with both of these tools, only temporarily mind. conZult is the better of the 2, but obviously is more expensive.
  7. never! why would anyone want to break a fully functional car. I can understand if its got bad rot or a totalled engine, but not otherwise.
  8. check the wiring and main ECU harness connector is on properly, oh and the autobox ecu one too.
  9. quite a large one i'd say, if lacking a little in depth. What cars you seen with a bigger one?
  10. there are 2 others in codsall, cainy's which is grey and currently for sale, and a guy who has a black one which is horrible.
  11. not a bad idea :p
  12. Alfo, yes. Its likely I'll be back in wolves at the weekend, you can bring it round and i'll sort if if you like.
  13. that first one is awesome, I want a black wide arch now!

    vipers looks **** anyway.
  15. Shelby GT500 aint no trash!
  16. pretty reasonable i'd say. Done a few things on the zed, most involved being the cambelt change, piece of piss, done 2 now.
  17. seriously quick?? does your TT have any boost?
  18. still slow here, just like everything else on this crappy connection.
  19. both RB26 and 2JZ's have been transplanted into zeds before.....
  20. it did, one blew a turbo and another a diff, still those engines are quite something to take that amount of punishment.
  21. a second on the 1/4 mile is pretty significant tbh!
  22. if you are doing the round lights I reckon they only look good with the 1 piece section and painted body colour. 99 spec still wins though.
  23. could be a number of problems tailgate catch being loose would cause it to move up and down at speed, causing the switch to go on and off making the lights go on and off, this could also cause issues with the alarm. Spluttering, it is pretty wet out atm, do you have a cone filter? If so, water on the MAF would case spluttering. Steering problem could be down to a bad speed sensor or faulty km>miles convertor. Might all be a related earth issue though, is your earth strap connected well?
