Resetting the Idle
the rpm's will certainly drop when you put it in drive with the brake on. It will also start perfectly fine in neutral. I'm sure swzmech meant will it start in gear, because it should NOT do that.

mad lol
nice cars and some good driving skill there. Bit crazy doing it on the road but it was clearly empty.

Arial removal
it is indeed, and it wired up as standard, unplug the mast aerial and you should still get a signal.

why the hell does the aircon pump..
lets be honest here your wallet is being hit hard allready, the a/c is hardly going to make a noticable difference ;)

Abrupt stop about 6500rpm
no point in having a performance car if you're too scared to use it for what it was designed for.

why the hell does the aircon pump..
there is no way. There is also a very good reason for this. The a/c rapidly condenses the water vapour, hence why the screen will clear in about 5 seconds flat.

Rar
rar is a compressed archive file, like a zip. winrar will unrar it.

HID's and MOT
power consumption of HID's is a lot less than regular lights, it probably won't be your battery

the rubber hoses or the metal pipes? Either way give mike feeney at MJP a call, he will sort you out much cheaper than a main dealer and won't fook you around. Also, there are no gaskets there as standard, just liquid sealer, somebody has replaced that before.

fookin computer
sounds like a duff graphics card. New motherboard time if you're onboard. Fixed 4 other peoples dead graphics cards in as many weeks, and in the process of replacing everything except the screen in my laptop following a graphics card failure, MXM my fookin arse... Must be the season for it :p In the mean time. Right click your desktop, go to properties, settings, advanted, troubleshooting and turn the acceleration all the way down. That may well offer a solution.

What would you mod
MK4 supra if I wanted a dragster, FD3S RX7 if I wanted a nimble sports car. Skylines are too expensive imo. I think my ideal car would be a black manual slicktop, with a nice suspension/brake setup, 16G blowers, maybe wide arch, niiiiice :D

how to get attention at a petrol station
try pulling up and having a turbo start smoking heavily while your filling up, then having the assistants come out to try and quickly move you away because it looks like you have an engine fire ;)

bt broadband
you are joking right? plusnet is just about the worst ISP ever to grace the earth. Just leaving them back at home because their new packet shaping setup means bit torrent simply doesn't work at all any more, and the throughput is under 1mb during the day, this is on a 7mb line! Appaling, really is. AOL on the other hand are one of the best ISP's currently going, afaik the only one without packet shaping in any form. Just been bought out by carphone warehouse I do believe though, so things might start to slip. Oh, and providing you can get cable and don't live in an area with lots of students, get it. NTL:telewest will soon be launching a 50mb service on trial, now that will be quick! Failing that, go to http://www.samknows.com and check the availability checker. This will show what LLU services are available in your area. If you can get either be* unlimited or easynet then go for them. If you have sky TV and can get easynet, then go for sky broadband on the max package, ADSL2+ up to 16mb, this is a very good service. Failing that, easynet also provide UKonline, they are very good also. If you can get be* and are not on sky then do that, upto 24mb with ADSL2+ again, top quality service.
