  1. Heroes is far and away better than that trashy lost series.
  2. you got dump valves on it? Totally standard you say? I would expect only to see flames on a straight through exhaust from the turbo's back. And 2 stage boost button??
  3. about the limit of my knowledge of the manual boxes is that Redline MT90 oil is supposed to make dodgy boxes better. Worth a try i guess.
  4. blue slicktop looks pretty tasty too
  5. where did you hear this? Its just that there is nothing about this on any news websites.
  6. it might look full, but it can still take loads more.
  7. yes you can. I believe that lymon is a bit of an expert on this.
  8. flushed through the engine and radiator?
  9. :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: believe it or not I do have a certain amount of experience with these.
  10. my vote goes to MJP too, then again he is the only trader i've used this year, top bloke.
  11. nonsense, disconnect your CAS and see how much fuel comes though. PTU may well be the problem, didn't say how many of the plugs are sparking, that said you will start a zed on only 3 cylinders at a push.
  12. swb ones seems more useful to me, gotta be nearly twice as deep.
  13. if they couldn't be bothered with getting the right bumper (which is quite important for charge temp) then what else has been bodged :nono:
  14. if that was the case though it would start but quickly cut out.
  15. no and no. A CAS fault will mean no fuel at all, a PTU fault will give no spark.
  16. the way I see it we don't have a committee here, by definition a committee is The 'committee' we have here were to the best of my knowledge not appointed or elected by anybody but themselves. They don't seem to consider or report on anything either, rather just take actions without giving a flying fook what anyone thinks.
  17. so it wont start now? Good spark and fuel leaves no compression, snapped cambelt? (thats a really wild stab in the dark btw :p)
  18. this is deffinatly something best left to the professionals imo!
  19. because the 'shaken' test they have to pass yearly is really fookin expensive. Don't have to have one to export the car. As for the differences, I'd have to have a j-spec because I think the headlight jets look stupid as hell, and the long rear plate looks gash too. Lack of folding mirrors is bizarre, I dont understand why this is on the UK's. As for the jap ones coming with tweed more often, maybe its true but lets be honest leathers in cars suck anyway (cold as hell in winter and hot as hell in summer, much slippier too), and lets face it the nissan leather is crap quality. Service history is worth jack shit with these, its going to break either way so who cares, nissan UK are muppets their stamp is worth nothing. As it happens my import does have service history but in japanese. As for rust 15 years of salt is going to rust about anything, majority of UK's seem to have visible rust, not many japs do. As for the comment that japs will quickly deteriorate once in the UK this is pure BS, the steel is the same, will corrode at the same rate. Wouldn't catch me buying a UK model.
  20. oh nothing, just a bit of contact cleaner in the connector.
  21. next to nothing, think the hose was under a tenner. Fiddly job mind.
  22. gains from a supercharger not worth it? Are you on this planet!?
  23. its unlikely to ignite, but I wouldn't want to be the one to test out that theory. Replace all the pipes, the problem on mine was one of the pipes above the no.5 injector had an inch long split in it. Not long after that, that injector gave up because of the corrosion in the connector, presumably because of the fuel leak.
