Are we going to have a meet in September, some one is going to want to show of his new motor, and who can blame him :)
  8. Fingers crossed it sorts it out. Just make sure that the brakes are stopping you before you take it on the road :) and that the issue is only with pedal travel!
  9. Brakes could be needing bedded in rather that further bleeding. Is it 2nd hand pads & discs or new? 2nd hand will probably take longer to settle in especially if you have mixed the pads up. I would be tempted to give it a good run to see if the pedal improves. If it was air then you would expect the pedal to remain spongy. It could still be a leak in the system or the master cylinder on the road out.
  10. Does the pedal seem spongy or is it just that there is more travel than you previously had. Remember you have changed the calipers, it could be down to the change in volume of fluid required to operate them. I have also seen cases where you get a crap pedal after changing pads, but it quickly improves after bedding the brakes in.
  11. No, the caps there to keep contaminates out, the seal being faulty will will not cause a broblem with brake operation other than over time allowing moisture into the system
