  1. I'll keep an eye of for you Lee I'll be there. As for z run to monte carlo, there was one! It ran for a few years but was for z31s and I was going to go along one year but the zed wasn't fit on time. Was called zball rally and you raised your own sponsorship for a chosen charity...support vehicle provided. Here's my pics from the start 2 years ago in Glasgow - http://s1020.beta.photobucket.com/user/z31300zx/library/glasgow%20to%20monte%20carlo
  2. From wiki In 1988, Nissan launched a limited 10,000 unit run of its homologated Nissan 1989 Micra Superturbo (EK10GFR/GAR). Both this and the 1988 Micra R (EK10FR) featured the same highly advanced sequential compound charged (supercharger plus turbocharger) engine in an all-aluminium straight-4 930 cc 8-valve 4-cylinder Nissan MA MA09ERT unit that produced 110 PS JIS (81 kW/108 hp) at 6400 rpm. This car came with either a 3-speed automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox with viscous limited slip differential, as well as options such as air conditioning and electric mirrors. The Micra Superturbo still holds the crown for the fastest production Micra in Nissan's history, with factory performance figures of 7.7 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and 15.5 seconds to run a quarter mile. It has a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph) - - - Updated - - - If it was £3k I'd be very tempted lol
  3. Mine just wiggled off no probs, 30 second job lol
  4. For anyone not on driftworks [video=youtube_share;WZIp4ftTshk] Crazy ass mofo!
  5. I've drooled over his stock many times, I spoke to him about a year ago about buying a few sets off him and getting a container sent over, he brought the price down a bit but the taxes when landed just made it a no go in the end.
  6. Cool, makes more sense that way. Groover you might want to update the end of your post
  7. Aye I know, what I was suggesting is you might fit the replacement only to find you are ALSO missing a heater control valve :smartass:
  8. Just a comment - don't take this the wrong way as its just an abservation. If you paid £150 to break a zed and you had a list of parts for sale including a starter motor for say, and a regi like me happened to be after a starter then I wouldn't be able to reply to purchase it. However if I put out a shout in the forum i will get a starter within 5 minutes from someone else with a spare gathering dust and they will get my money without having paid £150...is that not a bit of a downside for the 'breakers' who are going to pay £150 if registered users can't purchase from them? I can see its a good carrot to get registered users to subscribe if the breakers section became popular, but in order for it to get popular maybe everyone should be able to reply to the threads til it gets busy...then withdraw my access in a year and get me to sub  - - - Updated - - - or maybe I should sub so I can correct my typos!!!! Just 'absevered' the end of my first line of txt lol
  9. Have you checked if you have a heater control valve Allan? If its anything like the fiesta then those broke all the time, one of the fiestas I bought in the past had two pipes and jubilee clips instead of an hcv. I guess the idea was at least he could get hot air when needed to clear the screen instead of having the broken unit stuck on cold. On fiesta it was located under the trim piece at the wypers on the outside of widscreen.
  10. Superb, handy to know as I'm running on tein too
  11. Oi! I love my old z31....as long as I don't try to compare it to my z32tt for performance.
  12. Came across this mate, hopefully of help http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119304
  13. Just set it up so its all very straight forward connection wise (no sky and my hd recorder just broke so no feeds going into the unit at all). TV ariel to booster, booster to tv. HDMI between surround sound amp and TV with audio coming via ARC setting. ...and that really is it as BR player is built in to the unit with the amp. I tried removing the wireless card and unplugging the wifi unit for rear speakers and it made no difference, swithced the unit off and bingo I have a strong signal on all channels again...but pi$$ poor sound obviously as its just via the TV.
  14. Any ideas what I can do? TV working fine, good reception on all freeview channels (and freeview HD channels on TV directly). Hook up my new surround sound system (LG BH9520TW) and have a play with the settings listening to music and with a dvd, all fine. Stick it on the TV and first few channels I try say no signal, others have jumpy pictures and a few are fine. Switch off the surround dound system and I gett all my channels back! No point having a semi decent setup like this if I can't use it for every day TV watching. I've got a booster plugged in already.
  15. That was just a misunderstanding after my loose wording, I then tracked down the thread I had in my head and linked to it above - to be clear FJ never said dont declare, all Dave suggested was that you wouldn't be doing yourself any favours if you valued your bodykit (as an example) highly expecting a big pay day if there was an accident. If you were realistic in your valuation and plan to replace via second hand parts then why inflate your premium or rusk getting a knock back but valuing mods highly. Apologies to FJ for the wording i initially used.
  16. My wording is perhaps misleading, rather the value you put on the modifications rather than declaring them in the first place - see post 24 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?160169-omg-surely-theres-been-a-mistake-%29&p=1628153&viewfull=1#post1628153
  17. Sure when talking to Dave at FJ before he said that its only really boost controllers that scare them off...but he also said that you only declare the mods that you would expect them to pay out on in the event of an accident, if you were happy to source a second hand aftermarket bumper rather than put a new standard one on then there would be no need to declare the bodykit for instance...
  18. I think its missing an image...
  19. I used to have a mk3 xr2i, what a racket on the motorway though just waiting for the engine to bounce through the bonnet! 4.3 litre v8 armchair known as "Jeeves" "Big Red" JDM TT "Black Zed" UK NA
  20. Yeh I couldn't believe ebay offered to refund me, just wanted to get me off the chat after 20-30 mins i guess.
  21. The day is looking up slightly at least, gave the buyer a hard time and they've sent me £50 for my inconvenience
  22. Just had a long drawn out conversation with adviser on the live chat system, had a go at not being able to leave negative feedback and they said buyer activity dropped when they had a system in place to allow two way feedback. i said surely that means it was working then if the assholes went window shopping elsewhere?! So ebay have proposed to refund me all fees as a one off.
  23. *****cks, I sent a cancellation request for the alloys the other day. He hasn't accepted yet despite emailing to say he would, just draggin his feet now to be an ass. What will happen with that one when he does accept the cancellation as far as my fees are concerned?
  24. Following on from my rant the other day about selling nurburgrings on ebay and being messed about, last night I sold my Merc S430, had 112 watchers and a few bidders, the winner bid a couple of times yesterday just before auction, I emailed them to congratulate them and ask when they would be picking the car up and reminding them of the request for £200 deposit within 24 hours and $received no reply.... Just logged in this morning to get an email from them saying they bought it as a birthday present for their husband but last night found out its a diesel he is after and apologises and said she wished she'd asked before she bid. Fuming this morning. So much for clearing space and getting pennies in for xmas. How do the ebay fees work? That's twice this week that's happened and its the first I've experienced it, will they still charge me but give me credit on my account? Or will they not charge me at all if the transactions are cancelled?
