I never even realised it was a cover, I was late getting into JC, a friend got me into him a few years ago and with the circumstances and the words of that song I (wrongly) just assumed it was his own. Got that friend the box set as a thank you for introducing me to his music!

walk the line, good choice. My personal fave of the moment and the one that makes my stomach tingle a bit thinking of him writing and singing this knowing that he was on his way out - ...just got goose bumps listening to it there the now

"San Quentin, I hate every inch of you..." that was good, one way of getting the jailbirds on your side. I get to have an earlier night than you :) bbc4 is starting to repeat itself now, I already watched the best of the Johnny Cash show earlier, was on the back of ten...mostly other performers like the who, neil young, neil diamond, the yardbirds etc
  5. if you've got that kinda money to spend then forget the m5...howza about this little gem that I found on autotrader http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uvl/popup.jsp?currentaction=searchresults&e2w=20672&sort=5&did=16907&partner=TMG&postcode=G3%206ED&make=ASTON%20MARTIN&max_records=200&dropdowntype=uvl&configfile=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/16907/16907_config.xml&searchsrc=msl&miles=1500&modelexact=1&lid=search_used__full&source=2&csslocation=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/16907/16907&id=200946345750903&distance=0

  8. Until tomorrow when you will start showing interest in a diesel mondeo or a bmw 330 or a mini or a merc or a "fill in the gap" or a "fill in the gap again" or a... even now you have contradicted yourself by saying you will make sure its solid before going onto say you don't mind high miles coz you could do an engine change or rebuild!! You ought to try an assertiveness course or something From what I've read on this forum so far you never seem to take advice anyway or you wouldn't be in this situation. Or maybe I'm just being grumpy coz I've run out of cigs and can't be arsed going to petrol station coz its baltic outside! :(
  9. too gutted about the insurance thread being closed to comment :( just as the person who started the thread came back online and had a chance to respond as well :slap: OK, I'm over it now...yeh I do kinda agree that people should be responsible for their own finances and they should be charged for using an unarranged overdraft, but I do think the charges were a little over the top. There should be a charge, a fair charge that reflects the admin involved, that should be standardised and if the banks are ordered to pay out then they should pay out whatever is owed minus the agreed admin charge for each admin charge...although I know its more complicated than that because some people will have incurred extra charges because the original bank charges pushed them further into debt
