  1. 25 years old or more for most classic policies
  2. I'd say in general (not about any specific posts in this thread), if you get caught speeding and its not by an unmarked car then the cops are probably right...if you didn't see a marked car with a big blue light across the roof as you flew past then you weren't paying enough attention, possibly due to excessive speed :whistling:
  3. Unless it ones of the ladies in your avatar image :tooth:
  4. Cheers for the info, going for a test drive tonight if the guy finishes work before it gets dark.
  5. Yeh as I said I'm not too keen on the looks but i've got it down to £700 so for a wee run about I could live with it for a year and then put a for sale sign in the window and leave it parked in mcd's carpark
  6. as above anybody had one? One caught my eye and I'm not a big fan of the looks but its just as a daily driver for work, thought it would probably be a cheap run around and hopefully not too slow to drive me mad. Just looking for your experience with owning one and perhaps some things to look out for when checking it out. The guy has already told me the rear bushes need done buts that's all.

  8. Because I already have two shit looking ones and one decent looking one
  9. I'd say Apache's is a perfect template, I have to say it took me about a week to talk myself out of buying it when it came up...still got the pics saved on my laptop and now that you have mentioned it I'm starting to regret the decision :glare:
  10. Mines is black, 89 facelift model. I'm racking my brains trying to think where and when...I was up the arse of what I think was a 200B a couple of months ago, think it might have been the road from shawlands to glasgow city centre. I was poking my nose out looking for 'a look' of mutual appreciation :cool3: but it never came :blushing:
  11. I'm half way between Glasgow and Paisley town centre, got a z31, had it for a couple of years and have yet to see another one on the road up here - if I pass one when you are up and running then I'll know its you!
  12. Cheers Murt, its still working OK tonight but if it happens again I'll give that a go. EvoluZion3 - that was one of the weird things, I ran speed tests from a few different sites and they were all saying I was getting roughly what I should be (meant to be 8, getting about 6.5) - at the same time the test was running I would try opening one of the sites I had trouble with in another tab and it wouldn't load fully...but I could log on here and many other sites and it was still lightening quick!
  13. where abouts in Scotland are you, any pics of the z1 you've bought?
  14. That happened when I read it too...but thats probably coz I'm Scottish
  15. I must have just missed out, tried it just after your first post but no email through yet :crying:
  16. Cheers for the replies guys, all still seems to be working this morning so fingers crossed that its sorted. If not, I may try opening it up...I do have a dog and the laptop is pretty dusty and hairy at times! I'm using DSL mate...no cable in my area, been problem free with same supplier and same laptop for about 8 months til last week
  17. Its with all browsers though, not just firefox. I unplugged the router for a while there, downloaded the latest windows update and went through re-boot and all seems Ok just now...don't know if that's sorted it or if its just going through one of its working stages and then kick in again in 30 mins
  18. No mate. Frustrating that its only some sites (that I use regularly) and not others...and when searching online for a solution I can't get into many of the results pages that may have the answer!
  19. Any help appreciated folks. I've made no changes or installed anything new but a couple of days ago I struggled to get some websites to load up, thought nothing of it and assumed there was something wrong with my broadband supply and it would be sorted but unfortunately not. Its a bit strange because its only some sites some of the time. When I've got the problem I might try to go on ebay, gumtree, facebook or log in to hotmail and it will not actually time out but it will never actually fully load the page (after login info entered for hotmail, nearly all others its any page) at the same time I can get on here no probs, can go to google fine and lots of others. I've cleared out all temp files and cookies and carried out a speed check and everything comes back as being fine even when doing speed test while the problem is active in another browser window. I've tested with firefox and IE and get the same results for the same sites.
  20. go on daz - find yourepisode and let us know which one to watch - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274263/
  21. I'd just get to the scrappy first thing in the morning mate and get a set of steel wheels to get it moved quick before anything else happens to it. Not a member so I haven't seen you other post but from what I can gather it sounds like a pi$$er of a situation, you hope you get on your feet soon.
  22. That does sound quite pricey...oh I wish I knew a painter!!! :cursing:
  23. My rear arches are becoming increasingly tatty with bubbling paint from rust over an area of 4-5 inches on each side, anybody got a guide price for getting this tidied up?
  24. Yeh, check out his feedback in detail, as a buyer he has been reported for non-payment 3 times which perhaps speaks for his character in general :cowboy:
  25. Well said, can't just let the lad break the record and take credit, need to cast up and compare! z31youngr300zx is right, the goal ration is 0.75 for Boyd and Larssons for celtic was 0.78 (SPL only no cups or europe). Bearing in mind that Boyd is only now just about in his prime, and this record covers the time he was at (a bottom 6 of the league) Kilmarnock and then at the poorest Rangers team in many years...compare that to Henrik who was in his prime, playing in a stronger Celtic team than either of the current old firm teams...if Boyd was to stay at Rangers then he would beat many of the Gers records including McCoist's own goal scoring record for the club.
