For an auto, remove the starter motor, and get someone to hold a screwdriver between the gearbox housing and the flywheel teeth - this will stop the crank from rotating when undoing the crank bolt. (If it was a manual, you'd just stick in in 5th gear)

...and up to around 25mpg on a motorway journey if taking it easy

just stick to the outside lane of the motorway with the other Bmw's, no matter what the traffic situation, and you'll never need to use them

Saw one about 12 years ago, and was instantly attracted. Did a bit of research on them, and found nothing but excellent reviews, all of them massively praising the car. Could'nt afford one then along came other commitments, Wife, kids....needs for a cheaper to run, praticle car..etc meant it was'nt possible. Became a bit of a dream car for me. But 12 years later and outside on my driveway is a shiney Black Zed now :D

lol...just what I was thinking. A difficult one to answer....in theory everyone (well nearly) is capable of doing any of the above(except the matches one perhaps;))...with the right tools...its more about what you'll Feck up while doing it, and wether you willing to attempt such things in the first place. Previously with other cars, the most I would do was basic service stuff, but with the zed as a 2nd car and not having to worry about time off road, Im willing to have a go at more complex and daunting tasks.

Sell it and get Zed back on the road

You dont need an account beforehand, when paying without an account it is setup automatically when you make your first purchase. Check your browser has cookies enabled, that sounds like the possible cause for session expiry. ..but I see your subscribed already, so must of got it working now ?
