One thing to say is that we are backed up by a very extensive and superb range of Traders for the 300zx. From OEM, new, used and performance parts to Specialist garages. Im sure there are a few members that have used Nissan dealers, but the large majority would'nt avoid taking their cars to them. (there were only a certain number of Garages trained for the 300zx, and that was about 15 years ago).

Exhaust precat gasket blowing....but bolts were rounded of, and also have Rear main seal oil leak - so gearbox needs to be dropped to fix both problems in a couple of weeks :(

Officially all cars later than 92 require a Cat. But the 300zx is not on any cat emission data sheets so they have to test it as a non-cat car. Dont worry, it should'nt have any problems passing emissions just because of cat removal.

Is quicker than a 330ci (petrol) in some cases, slower in others. But not Zed performance. 30-70mph through the gears Bmw 330d - 7.9 secs 300zx - 5.78

The 330d is very torquey, but you still should of wasted it....you were in 2nd gear ?
