  1. I believe Ztech (near swindon/Newbury) and Zen Garage (various locations near london) offer this free service. Alternatively several members have Conzults themselves, if you can find somebody nearby.
  2. TT 0-60 is about 5.5 secs 0-100 is about 14 secs NA 0-60 is about 7 secs 0-100 is about 17 secs
  3. Both have near identical performance. Auto has the edge on straight 0-100 sprints (were talking 0.1 secs though) , Manual quicker in real world driving. Auto obviously would be better for in-traffic driving, Manual better for sprited driving. Manual MUCH stronger than Auto box , and with a Manual you dont have to convince every dissapionted passenger that its ok having an Auto in a Sports car/Super car :x: ;) Manual zed's are rarer and tends to me more expensive.
  4. The zed does'nt run standard T25's. It runs Garret Hybrids . The Exhaust turbine is from the T2 and the Air compresor from the T25.
  5. presume you mean 99 Spec front bumper ? Yes, also available from zcentre. http://www.zcentre.co.uk
  6. They are In the Traders section
  7. Get her on a Conzult, and check the O2 sensors. If one of them sticks/fails she'll be running overly Rich. There is also an O2 sensor test without Conzult....have a search, should be instructiosns somewhere
  8. The Mines is generally regarded as a More aggressive ECU, with advanced timing compared to the safer JWT option. There may however be differnt varients of the Mines.

  13. Power from Chip alone would be very mininal. The power increase comes from the Raised boost.

  17. Keep an eye out for oil leaks for a bit, particualy the rear main seal (oil will appear around gearbox bellhousing) - common failure after oil overfill.
  18. Congrats marcus, pleased for u :) Does that mean we dont need to sneak around your house with a can of silver spray paint one night, now ? ;)
  19. Thanks everyone. Everyone very shaken up and emotional but so glad their still here. I agree, re: other drivers attitude, which is why I never approached him afterwards, and only wish a speedy recovery for his son.
  20. Phonecall at 4pm from my Wife, hysterical to say she had just been in a Head on collision on a Single carriageway in her MPV. My 7 month old daughter and mother-in-law also in the car. Jumped in car, and screeched there to find Wife in ambulance, Daughter on Respirator and mother-in-law at side of road in neckbrace surrounded my paramedics. Spent the evening in Hospital, Wife and daughter now home. Cuts and bruises on my wife. Baby suffered whiplash and has bruises where car seat harness digged in, but both ok. Mother-in-law having to stay in hospital, with fracturered Ribs and breathing difficulties. It seems to be my Wifes fault...2 cars in front started slowing, so did she, then they stopped suddenly, her ABS kicked in, car would'nt stop in time and she swerved just before coming to a hault, hitting a Ford Galazy (doing about 60mph - the legal speed limit) coming the other way. Both cars very much write off's. One of the kids in other car seemed quite badly hurt :( , but not critical. Driver of Galazy had huge go at my wife, threatening to hunt her down and kill her, before I arrived. The Road (major carriageway into City) is still closed, 7 hours later. :( :( :(
  21. Yep :( :x: .... although spent some time convincing mine how great zed's are, and even let her drive it a short distance....and I think it had too much affect, becuase now she wants one !

be carefull with the Wooden blocks method, it applies pressure to the windscreen when you pin it in........crack! (ask greg ;))
  23. Mine is'nt my daily driver, but there are plenty on here that do. (I think BlackMagic does 25k a year in his?). Fuel costs would be the biggest issue (plan for low 20's mpg with carefull driving, but it can go to half that when having fun or into the high 20's on steady motorway drives(apparantly;))

Very common unfortunatly. One of the zeds little faults with age. Can be cured with a strong glue (evo stick - Solvent variety) , and clamping it down as glue sets. (strong crocodile or bulldog clips)
