  1. glass was already in there honest.... drivers side window was previously smashed and replaced before I purchased.
  2. ECU Diagnostics plug is under the dash in drivers side footwell, near the bonnet release lever. Its often tucked up out of the way so you may have to dig around for it.
  3. I believe so :D Lots of plans....Lightweight (should be capable of dropping below 1300kg without stripping interior) powerfull track capable "fast road" car is the aim. Something that would be capable of competing in TOTB if I ever chose to.
  4. That it ? (I much prefer the Blue btw)
  5. Paul@SWZ's Cabby (TT Manual  ) Yeh, eventually....but for the meantime im putting in a TT lump so I can get her on the road...and then uprade (brakes, suspension...etc) as I go until the point Im ready to take her off road for the final stages and V8 transplant.
  6. Out with the old (blue), in with the new (black)... BTW..complete Blue Interior available if anyone wants it
  7. Yep  , it had the same chassis structual upgrades that the Convertible has.
  8. ...unfortunatly not for the better, yet LOL Made a start on the Slicktop this afternoon... On the Interior.......Stripped it ! Dash, doors, trim, carpet...Literally everything ! and exactly the the same to a 94 Uk LWB thats breaking for parts. Forgot to take before pics, but it had the rare Blue interior (blue dash, doors, carpet..everything!) which I was'nt keen on so fitting a complete series 3 Suede Interior with Black Dash & carpet. Tomorrow it goes back together...I hope !
  9. Final production was in 2000. 11 years Final sales were early 2001. Still beaten by NSX..which was 15 years! - 1990-2005
  10. Bored, and was trawling through my Picture collection.....For your viewing pleasure
  11. You can remove the cruise control ecu from footwell, and the gubbins from engine bay. Swap Pods over, change steering wheel. All years (98-2000) that had cruise control had the button on the pod, and either controls on the steering wheel or on a stalk(93 onwards). Models without cruise control had no button on the pod.
  12. Congrats :) Any pics ?
  13. Keep the blue, one of my fav colours on the zed. Spent 3 days following and admiring your car around Europe couple of years back watching everyones jaws drop when they saw it.
  14. As Joely says front bumper is same from 89-98 and was only changed in 99. You must have aftermarket bumper ?
  15. Thanks Ian :D , will compare in the morning. Much Appreciated.
  16. 265 would be stretched on, I think 245 would be the max on 8j
  17. Is that of the Convertible Ian, Im not sure the vert and regular swb rear trim is the same
  18. Does anyone with a series 2 (seat belts on the B-pillar, not on the door) onwards SWB have any pics that show where there seat belts are mounted? Need for reference to see how trim should look with belts coming through as Im fitting later series interior and moving seat belts on my Slicky.
