  1. BOV's are not an engine mod. But anyway, with that type you would need to get a Hardpipe kit and have them welded to it, which would prob cost more overall than just buying a brand name set that fit in the stock recirc location.
  2. Turbo Dynamics, Turbo Technics..and any of the other Turbo reconditioners in the UK.
  3. Both NA and TT are LSD Diffs for all years.
  4. 53:47 for the LWB 55:45 for the SWB Its no different to most RWD cars in that respect, in fact its wider stance than most cars aids rear stability.
  5. Nismo 555 injectors by far the most popular and reccomend injectors for the 300zx. Available in Phase 1 style. They are also available in Phase 2 style as 615cc, and can be used with the duetchwerks adaptors to fit earlier cars. There is also the 300 degree fuel rail, and you can use the later style lower plenum and rail for fitting later style in older series. I would not trust venoms as far as I could throw them. They are just reworked 2nd hand stock injectors and I know Z's with them now that have problems with them leaking that were purchased much later than 05/06.
  6. I would'nt say that's any easier, adding in some extra work there. You just need to lower the engine in slowly and at an angle to get the nose lined up as it comes down.
  7. Centre bore is 66mm Offset is a little more tricky as its dependent on width. On a popular sized 8.5" front wheel then a +25 offset is good. On a popular sized 9.5" rear wheel then a +35 ofset is spot on.
  8. Cool, its 2 tone just like Jimmy's and Craig's
  9. Knackered old rear shocks will make things worse. Tyre make and model is critical though. Some of the tyres these things come over with from Japan are dangerous and not even legal on UK roads.
  10. are you for real ? The fee was for Membership to the club, which means your supporting the running of the club and gaining full access to the forum and all the privilidges its brings. You have full Members access, its just the membership pack your waiting on. The club never used to do Membership packs at all, but was added to the list of benefits as a nice freebie extra that members now get, and your whining and stamping your feet becuase yours is a little date, despite the very valid reason being politely explained to you by the new Secretary. :slap:
  11. headlights appear to be chromed. Good chance thats an ex-forum car. Hope it is a TT, but a TT front bumper is not conclusive, many NA's running around with them.
  12. Congrats on the New Role Isaac, I seem to have missed the announcement.
  13. They are done in batches, however I do believe the Membership Secretary may have stood down from the Comittee and a replacement has not been made. However, fee is for club membership with full forum access not for the membership pack, that's just a nice extra the club includes. Im sure it will be sorted, shortly. There is another thread here with others that are waiting :http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=127970
  14. yes its fine. The auto engien has Cam differences and Turbo differences, makes around 20hp less but is designed to spool up the turbos a little quicker (to make up for the autobox inefficiency). You will need to swap over the Balance bar on the plenum (auto version missing a feed for the clutch booster), and you will need to remove the spigot bush from back of crank and fit manual bush.
  15. yes, SX is a standard 5-bolt T25/T28 flange. Its a pretty common fitment tbh, you'd be able to get gaskets from any motor factors.
  16. Stories like this circling the internet are always bogus. But ofcourse things like that happen all the time, its not shocking at all.
  17. Hammond has the Z, and after he slagged it off last time....
  18. ok, so we know James had the Capri Hammond does appear to be standing by the Z, and Jezza by the 944
  19. Welcome :)
  20. set start 3psi below your desired boost, so for 17 you want it on 14, for 12 you want it on 9 ..etc This will help the boost to come on quicker and stronger
  21. I've not got his number anymore, but SWZ used to use him for their customers so I will try and get hold of Paul for contact details. I think ebay seller is him, so you could contact him that way.
  22. Powerstation, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire Interpro, Bristol TSR, Bridgwater, Somerset Castle Motors, Castle Combe, Wiltshire AP Motors, Plymouth They are the closest that I know of, but add to the list if anybody knows others
  23. The trimmer who did that dashboard is the same trimmer that did my interior pieces. Same guy that did CoopersSWB full cream leather interior too. Very high quality and I can thoroughly recommend him ! I've not seen this one in person but I've seen one he did in black and it looked fantastic.
  24. Increased Ethanol is bad for the early style Z32 Injectors. Its fine for the Later Injectors 94+
