Pretty sure it was scrapped for parts at Ztech 5 years ago.

Honda NSX ? Or Nissan 300ZX??
Me too

Selling/swapping - same thing?
no, swapping doesn't mean selling...But it does mean trading. So if this thread is in reference to Forum rules, then "Trading' is the key word.

300zx vs skyline
It does vary between Markets (UK vs JDM) and between years, when they changed HICAS setups and introduced door bars. Plus the Auto is 20kg heavier than the Manual. But 1580kg is a typical average figure for a 2+2 TT Manual. The lightest TT is the Slicktop at an average 1490kg, however its weight varies depending on spec becuase it was the only TT version offered with delete options - like Manual seats, no ABS ..etc

Nice 99 spec in japan
I HATE tweed, but I actually quite like the black tweed. Its what Russ's 98 Slicktop has in it, and its actually not bad at all. Feels and looks totally different to the old grey tweed.

Honda NSX ? Or Nissan 300ZX??
If they were the same price, I would have a hard time choosing between them. I think they can look fantastic and I love the mid-engine NA setup. But there is the tunablity factor to consider and suprisingly I find they dont have as much road presence as the Z. A couple of times I have been following them on the road, and they don't stand out much more than a Honda prelude. You'd have to get one in Unique/lairy colour to get noticed. But....considering they do cost so much more, I'd rather have a Z.

nice wide arch for sale
MMMm..White widearch Z.....its shame Its really let down by the fitting of the non-wide arch version of the strosek rear bumper, but that's relatively cheap and simple to replace for the widearch version that it should have.

overheating....i think!
Thats the overflow bottle. You need to check the water level in the radiator, via the radiator cap. Im afraid the VG does'nt like getting hot, unless your lucky, you may now be looking at a possible headgasket failure. If water is low, top it up, check for leaks, check the level after taking it for a drive. Its probably worth having a Compression test done on it too. Testers can be purchased from somewhere like Halfords, or it should be relatively cheap for a garage to do the test for you.

series 2 exhaust question
UK cars have a precat for the passenger downpipe, which is a different length to JDM cars. You should be able to get hold of a JDM passenger side downpipe(turbo elbow as they are often called) cheap.

Keep it COOL baby... Rad advice...
I have 2fast2cool divorced downpipes and decats too. I did however have fitment issues with mine, to do with the angles they came out at. As you can see : It seems a few have had issues, but they are fine for the majority.

300degree fuel rail(s) question..
You cant fit the 300degree fuelrail without new injectors. Stock injectors wont fit, only the pintle-less injectors, which is the later style, available in 555 and other sizes. Im not sure what style the Sard/PE injectors are, but then that option only fits with the later style lower plenum anyway, which you dont have.
-
300degree fuel rail(s) question..
300D-012-04 is the one you need, becuase of your early model lower intake. The OEM pintle-less injectors are the later style injectors.

Keep it COOL baby... Rad advice...
Really? Not fitted one from fast2cool rad before, but there are quite a few different ones on ebay that I've fitted. I can understand the ams logo on their manifolds, becuase of the casting...but the Logo has to be sprayed onto the rads after manufacturer. Rather than knockoffs I suspect they must have purchased a batch of AMS branded parts from the Chinese Manufacturer

Keep it COOL baby... Rad advice...
They get overtighned and then screw heads are easily damaged and rounded off. Had to cut new grooved into a few to get them undone.

Keep it COOL baby... Rad advice...
Koyo is probably the biggest brand name that radiators are compared to, but I dont highly rate the koyo. Its a perfectly fine radiator but its quality is nothing special, and compared to the Ebay radiators the koyo has a smaller core and plastic bleed screws instead of metal. Cant comment on performance, I personally dont believe the Z has an issue with Cooling anyway, not in regards to the radiator anyway, but a Nice shiney rad with bigger capacity and alloy end tanks is an advantage over an old stock one with broken fins and plastic end tanks.

300degree fuel rail(s) question..
The 300degree fuel rail allows fitment of the Newer style injectors. Your pre-94 injectors will not fit. Also why bother fitting them without upgrading? Its extra labour for no reason. May as well wait till you have bigger injectors to go in them.

300zx vs skyline
People often call the GTST , just GTS. He did say it was a 2.5 Turbo at the beginning of thread. Despite how close in performance they look on paper, those I've driven and had a play with have always been lacking in the performance department compared to a Z.
-
tyre speed / load rating
Legally fine, although Im amazed you can get tyres that fit a Z that have such a low speed rating,
-
What you doing to your zed at the moment?
Nothing recently. Progress is stagnant. In fact I've just about had enough of it all and its getting me down so much I'm considering jacking it all in.

300zx vs skyline
Z32 is 1580kg for a 2+2 TT No idea if the Skyline figures are correct, but they are for the heavier R34 and a GTST is a R32 or R33.
-
300zx vs skyline
Stock for stock the Skyline isn't as quick. The couple I have driven were very uninspiring. But if your talking modified , then any car can be modified to be quicker than the next.

ABS and Dials
All TT's have ABS
