1. It will not - c'mon........no half measures will be tolerated . Bet your door rubber cable grometty type thing is pretty bursting !!
2. Replace with any of the below Barmy Mentally unstable Mad Crazy Foolish Daft Insane Loopy..............................and so on .
3. Have a look at this thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172309-Indicator-filament&highlight=fast+flash+relay Switchback bulbs requires a twin filament bulb holder, ie the stop/tail ones where there are 3 wires coming from it if it was severed from the rear loom. One wire is ground and this serves both the sidelight and indicator part. If your sidelights are on therefore white smds are lit and you indicate the amber rules and the white goes out, hence the switching with the blinking. No sidelights on and the indicator works as normal.
4. If it's the stock relay then I don't really know how it'll react to a switchback bulb, perhaps it'll flash amber amber white, amber amber white instead of amber white amber white !! But what the eck fast flash relays are only a few pounds - I'd get one on order if I was you.
5. The lighting smd part is 40mm ? Add this to a 22mm base and total length is 62mm ? Mine are practically 50mm in total, made up of a 22mm base and a 27mm lighted part. Just get a plug n play fast flash relay, load resistors is a load more work.
6. I got an email yesterday saying several log in attempts were made with my apple id and wanted me to 'click here' in order for me to confirm my details. For starters I don't own one single apple device and therefore apple id - I've not got a clue what they're on about.......delete without opening or showing email images. What's disappointing though and they know it, they just need one gullible person in every 50 and so the reason they persist with these and the fact remains they will never go away.
7. I bought mine for £5300, 4 and half years ago and I've spent 'cough cough' on it, I don't expect to get this back but would expect quite easily to receive what I paid for it, if not a touch more, especially as time goes by. So the extra I have spent is probably still no where near the depreciation you would get on buying a 20k 'modern' car over the same 4 and so year period.
8. Andy the shopkeeper appears :thumbup1:.
9. Happy birthday Paul, hope you had a great day :thumbup1:.
10. That'd be better Keith if you let me do the 4 chambers of that reverse panel in gloss black ? Currently in chrome/silver they're too bright with regard to the tails.
11. Think you might be thinking more smd's the brighter they are, it does stand for reason though but I have not found this to be the case. I do have a youtube channel under the same user name and there's a vid of my switchbacks in action. There didn't seem to be another alternative when I bought mine so that's an easy answer to that question. Are the ones with more smd's not too long ?
12. I have the bottom linked switchbacks in mine and they work perfect, the yellow and white colour is perfect and they're bright and crisp. Expensive yes, and is the reason I have removed mine and they're sitting in my dry garage while the car is sorned on the drive.
13. Done that Lee with my decals without a problem, but I cannot edit as I tested it, not sure if I should be able to or not - not a great issue, it's just that you have to get it right first time. Take it the only way is to delete it and start again for any amendments.
14. Yes Lee it does open a feedback page and I was sure I sold some handles on here 100%, as the buyer found my paypal details in order to pay, but I cannot see where the sold item actually is, my listing does still state 2 of 2 items remaining or did until it ended. Still not got permission however to edit my listings, so say I wanted to reduce the price or had some text I cannot.
15. Got the garage to fit the new Vredesteins on my rims and I fit today on the rears, last night I spent a considerable amount of time off the car grinding back areas of slight curb damage and then just worked my way through with grades of paper until they polished up real nice, can polish even more as the day back on the road approaches in May.
16. Think a screen shot is a smart phone thing...............I get a daily call from the 90's asking for their phone back :thumbup1:. When I try and edit Lee I get this message vBulletin Message phutumsch, you do not have permission to access this page. 17. So so easily to get your tenner back, you have to sell something for £115.00 on ebay with a paypal payer for you to clear £100.00, I've got a bit sick of lining their pockets and try where I can sell on here .
18. Just a blatant attempt to advertise my few things for sale, they appear every time I post......see EDIT : Oh no what a numpty - the 7 days must of elapsed as they've gone .
19. Not just the same as yours as mine does not die once it as fired. I'm currently sorned and have parts missing but in a few days I'll be able to try it again. Last summer it would crank and start fine from cold and run perfect, however should I make a journey or just move it around on the drive and then turn off, it would crank and crank but not start if I was to try and start again within 5 mins of shutting off, if it was left for say 20 mins and I have had a brew it would start no problem. I have changed the ptu and also at the back of my mind I am thinking my battery is on it's way out as it soon loses it's charge or woomph, because with a really strong and lengthy crank with a booster attached it did help starting when normally it wasn't for going. I have not been able as yet to test the fuel pump removal procedure.
20. I was getting the same Rich when I was clicking leave feedback. On a similar note Lee, should I be able to edit my classified ads ? As it's saying I don't have permission ?
21. I think it's payback for all that bragging you were doing.......something I'd never do !!! Next time it does it, remove the fuel pump fuse and turn it over, then replace fuse and give it another go.
22. Got my new front tyres fit on the wheels and got them on today, originally when I got the car they were this width at 235 with a 45 profile, I have had 215's on until now but these were always too narrow but didn't rub like the 235's do but I have some adjustable this and that to fit by Mr Lee Dent so my hope is to eliminate any rubbing, profile on these is 40 and I have 25mm hubcentric spacers fitted. On the swage line at the front I had some led amber/white strips, these did not last even though they were supposed to be waterproof . Now all gone, tidied up with a blow of paint and a new black line, fyi whilst sorned the bulbs are removed from indicator unit as one was quite expensive and I don't want dampness damaging the smds, much much better this stock look .
