  5. thats a repair station or something like that. they are not so much perhaps £30.00, i dont think you will have sleepless nights over that, i do have one. the money is in my dolls, mainly the fembot which i think was the enemy of bionic woman, perhaps £300 at last count and i have bigfoot which again i think was steve austins friend, slightly less at £250.00 all boxed of course and complete. i have them all in my loft, i dont play with them of course, i play with my zed and wife, in that order, sssshhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
  6. I have one as well daz and mine works also  it as a trailer as well if my memory serves me  i have loads of six million dollar dolls also, the full set and these can only go up in price, oscar goldman, fembot, etc :thumbup1:
  7. I know the last owner of my manual was concerned at the 'fast' idle, it was at just under 1000 at say 980 or so. after reading your post I thought i would have another tinker. nothing happens with the yellow connector connected, I can make it quicker but not slower. :headvswal On your advice I removed it and then had another fiddle whilst running. Turned off and re connected. Fired up, fully warm and it settled at about 850rpm, went for a burn and all the time it settled back to the 850, much much better than the racing 980rpm!!!!!!!! :) So I thank you
  8. used to be a place in clitheroe did roof racks.....if my memory serves me, yes tradeframes methinks. next time you in bly look me up!!!!!!

  11. wonderful news  i know how you feel as mine went straight through this week as well with no advisories
  12. ditto to that. if ever i am on the road and it gets incredibly foggy, very unlikely, i can put the red bulb in in a flash and just bullet connect the wire i have there that goes to my switch. simples :sneaky2:
  13. blimey there is a lot lot more birthdays in every month than i ever thought :thumbup1: i could add them up if i could be bothered but i am not that sad!!! sure some sad case will be on in a minute with some figures  thanks for your reply.
  14. It was my birthday on the 8th and i have noticed there seems to be a lot around this time, ie March, or is it cos i notice more as they are all near mine? Is there any way of knowing for sure which month carries the most birthdays, unless we have a poll but will everybody take part? :glare:
  15. you are most welcome, when i send the return/swopsy back to you, i will include the mirror switch for you to do at your leisure, looks great, top work indeed :thumbup1:
  16. now you know thats very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. the suspense is killing us all jonesy :cursing: your bloody watching the football?
  18. just an update to the lead post in this thread, i have fit the hid's and they are superb. very simple fit on my j-spec, no fiddling and adapting needed, can take as little as 10 mins but take your time and tidying ballasts up, etc, give yourself a good 30mins. used the original rubber gromet as well as the one in the kit, just needs to be fed through one multi plug wire at a time, care needs to be taken when offering the bulb through into the headlight and seating correctly and then getting the clip over, but all very easy. i have included lots of pics, all the links for the bulbs i have are in this thread and are now all fitted. i had the car tested on the 9th and it went straight through  with no advisories, no mention of the xenons at all or the alignment, so i must have it all spot on. i recommend with confidence this kit. not sure what to do with the ballasts, should i hide them in the front as they will just reach or keep them on show? certainly don't want them just loose as the passenger side is currently. if i could say anything against this kit is that the ballasts are chunky, i have not looked but if you can get slimline 55w ballast then they would be better. keep your halogen bulbs in the boot as these can be put back in seconds, no problem should the hid's fail for some reason. come on in the water's lovely!!!! :nana2:
  19. mine will be coming your way graham for sure!! have you sent me that switch with led for the left pod yet? have you received the item i sent you? andy.
  20. kind words - thank you. :winkiss: the hid's are fit now and look the dogs, just one quick pic attached, note the side lights and the fogs, i will show whats in here perhaps tomorrow, all very white and bright!!!! thank you again, :tt2: andy.
  21. many thanks everybody, get a seperate thread on this site!!!! i have been out for a carvery lunch after a trip in to work this morning and yet to open my pressies and its 4.17pm!!!! gonna do it now and get out to fit the hid's :tt2: :happybday: to me, :happybday: to me!!
  22. i discovered this thread whilst searching. i had my head near the fuse box today and noticed there is a 'stopper' under the gas pedal. :tt1: what is this for and does everybody still have theres fitted? removed i presume the pedal goes to the carpet but does it make it quicker, this will explain why mine does not go past 185mph!!!! :confused1: no matter how hard i push down!!!
  23. it does look a little shiiiiite after the winter and takes a few mowes for it to come right, too cold at night for it to grow much at the minute. i like to cut mine every 5 days in the height of summer, i dont have much and only takes me 10 mins each time.
