  1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280487537694&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT It's the logo that interests me, anyone got one on their dash? Is it an aftermarket thing? Do we like it? :bored:
  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160419982194&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT these are just like mine :hammer:
  3. where do i put my cup for a latte? can someone show me :helpsmilie:
  4. Just a quick addition to this. As the light is fading this blue light is looking better and better, it really is crisp and modern looking. :winkiss: Should be more of a detterent/visible even in the daytime. Furthermore, I now have seperate blue, and a red led flashing inside, methinks this shows better that I have two alarms/immobilisers fitted to my vehicle, can only help warding off some hoodie on the rob!!!!! :2guns:
  5. Another recommendation from me!!!!! :online2long: I have had a flashing red led for my immobiliser since I got the car, but never thought it was bright enough even at night. I do have another red led and this blinks 3 times, this is for the alarm, this is a touch brighter. I have just withdrawn the immobiliser one out of its hole in the right pod, it now just dangles inside hidden away, still working but not now visible. Replaced in the hole with this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pre-Wired-Flashing-BLUE-12V-Led-with-Clip_W0QQitemZ300408733821QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45f1c1807d this is much much brighter, crisper, more updated and more visible, I have wired in such a way that when the ignition is on the light goes off, and as soon as the engine is turned off it flashes away. Of course this particular one in my car is working as a dummy but who's to know that!!!
  6. Checked them out and they were connected to the stop/tail bulbs as we all suspected!!!!! So if you want the side markers to go off when you brake - connect them here!!!!!! I have now wired them with the number plate lights as they should of been done in the first place. In fact this would of taken no more time to do, so cannot understand why the stop/tails were used initially. :confused1: As this thread is my recommendation of the red bulbs from Hong Kong, as previously mentioned these are the same in white  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320496919483&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT expect these will be as magnificent as the red ones, am going to put these in the number plate lights, I have bought 2 pairs, should be coming anyday. :tongue_smilie: Have also bought 2 x more red ones for spares and 2 x blue ones, not sure I will fit these blue anywhere but you never know, I may just try them in the number plate lights, might just give it a slight blue illumination that the old bill will not bother about!!! :cool3:
  7. stop dreaming and get yourself one!! on my travels I will look about for someone flashing frantically!!!!
  8. Just seen the spotted thread after many months!!!!! Have put a post on there. Thanks for your comments on the vehicle, It is always nice to have a fellow member say its nice. I have my business in Nelson but reside in Burnley. And yes pay your subs!!!!!! :glare:
  9. Its mine!!!!! :tt2: At the time back in November having only just acquired the car, I was not a member on this site, only on the other as the previous owner was on there. This is the first time I have spotted this thread having been told about it. :crying: Sorry about the delay  and thanks for posting the spotted thread!!!!
  10. where are you spotting me and what time. do you need to pay to send pm's then?
  11. am thoroughly enjoying it though  thanks for the reply graham, andy.
  12. I haven't wired them in Graham, already done when I got it from Mike. My next job is to see where they pick up from, must be the rear lights I would of thought, mainly the stop tail circuit? On another note I have severed the green/black 'light' wire that goes to the time clock, it now stays at full brightness all the time. I felt when it dimmed it dimmed tooo much. :tongue_smilie:
  13. Having already done the pin 5 mod causing the dipped hid's to stay lit when you flash. :tt2: This does not help at all when you flash in the daytime as the hid's are not used unless your a right poser!!!! :online2long: So with days longer now I have disconnected the multi-plug from the ballasts and so I have put my xenons to sleep for the summer. :sleep1: If I want lights i can put on the front fogs if its a little dull. I dont use the car hardly ever after 6pm and the morning drive to work is at almost 8am, It is just a simple snap back in if I want them back on for an evening errand, but like all of us I have other vehicles I could use. Simples!!! I was flashing the halogen full beam today at passing motorists as there was the old bill further down the road, I would deffo of not done this had I'd known I would be flashing the hid's. :thumbup1:
  14. Got the red side marker lenses and have fit, with of course the super bright red bulbs behind. I think I will keep the red instead of the clear, for now anyway. When I was photoing got someone to press the brake as I wanted to show how bright they were in comparison to the rear brakes and the markers go off!!!!! :confused1: Then back on again when the brake pedal is lifted!!!! :mad2: Is this normal? Not sure I like that as I think I want them on all the time I have the lights on. See on the photo how bright these are, compared to the rear lights, methinks they are as bright as the brake 21w, if not brighter. And finally, I have ordered some of these same red bulbs but in white and I intend to fit these in the 2 x number plate lights, I have taken the lenses off here and cleaned in preperation - they were filthy!!!! :cursing:
  15. I have ordered one as well and should have it perhaps weds. :thumbup1: Ordered through my local garage as they get a 20% trade discount at the nissan dealer they use in Preston. Meaning I only pay them the £115.00 and no vat. They will get it for £95 and so by my reckoning thats £20.00 for them for handling. win win methinks
  16. mine never locks itself, is it only uk cars that do this? i dont want to state the obvious but you should always have a complete bunch back up in a drawer at home, doesnt help you now I know. :tongue_smilie:
  17. they took the vectra and then didn't bring it back?????????????
  18. well i use a brillo on mine and there is a thread on it i posted!!!!! my wheels are suited to it though being highly polished. andy.
  19. the wheels are lush  nice stance
  20. I am sure that was for sale about 5 months ago when i was actively looking, what put me off was cloth trim and auto. looks nice enough though.
  21. definitely red, pink is for girls dont you know!!!!! could not be more red, thats why i recommended them, and very bright. i am going to get some red lense side markers and try the bulbs behing these very soon, but dont take that to mean i am unhappy with my current set up, cos i am delighted.
  22. These are a very bright bulb, could not be more pleased with them http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320498097429 I got them for £2.70 under auction from Hong Kong but notice they are bin for £2.99. :balloon: I have clear side markers with normally clear bulbs but thought I would see how a red bulb would look in there. Even wife stated how bright they were when i drove off today. Fully recommend them :thumbup1:
  23. better pick here of my fronts for you baz
  24. c'mon everyone, 'sat here with a tape measure', how come nobody as picked up on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
