  1. Really......it's not worth getting the filler out, etc  Mike upto date prices please if you read this
  2. Mine are in the same condition as yours were, good idea with a bit of filler, I will give it a go one day now. Nice one
  3. Yeh thanks for that Rich!!! Just a little scratch on the side rear bumper and a chunk missing from the wheel rim....a momento I am calling it :thumbup1: Could of been a lot lot worse, I was trying to get it under control as it was spinning as I could see the barrier getting nearer  I wasn't the only one today, a Caterham lost it and also it's front end, I do have a pic. Second session the track was starting to dry out and the third and final one the track was pretty dry, most fun was had here  Discs/pads were smokin after the third
  4. Well you say......well I actually spun it in my first 20mins session, it was a bit wet and just before the pit lane I lost it, on the gas a little too early and there is a very slight brow that jinks the car after leaving a bend. The lap before in the same place it gave me a bit of a wiggle, I ended up spinning either 2 and half times round or one and half as it slid onto the wet grass and a great bump backwards into a barrier. Exited straight away and looked at the damage and hardly owt there  Loads more to say and plenty of pics and vids to upload in time but at least I am back in one piece  What great fun though
  5. I am gonna quite enjoy watching this.....or will I be another one bidding just to push the price up
  6. My lovely wife bought me a track day last Xmas so I am using it tomorrow afternoon, my first one ever and am looking forward to it very much  I would of liked to of put on all my mods before this but I have been unable to so will take the car as is, I would lose the day otherwise and I cannot stomach that. Anyway, I will be taking the camcorder and loads of pics and will upload on this thread as soon as :cool3:
  7. Have you tried bending round a 4 inch nail and using that
  8. Not saying the links don't work Paul, just that not for me  Downloading openoffice as I type so shortly I will be fine for now and any in the future. Many thanks :thumbup1:
  9. I am sure they all left the factory the same way, that is when you flash the dipped/hid's will go off and if your car doesn't it as been modded. I have found this what Graham wrote a while back Now he mentions the relay mod and I believe I have done this but it doesn't make the hid/dipped stay dormant when you flash the fulls from dipped off, they come on which confuses me and contradicts, in post 7 I can open that link of course but for some reason I cannot open the doc files and I would like a read, so if someone could do this for me I will be most grateful, either pm or post on this thread. Finally another mod, on the Aus site they was talk of a diode being used in the actual light pod itself, obviously some sort of bridge between connections, I have made an attempt at this some time ago but was unsuccessful unfortunately :mad2:
  10. I removed my BOV's/pipe when I fit my HID lights as it would of been practically impossible without doing so but it's not a problem. Months later I had my lights out, again it is a fiddle but you can get so much done when you have them on a bench, test adjusters, clean, etc. I was then going to use some cheap 100w bulbs in the main beam but one blew whilst testing so soon scrapped that idea (not required either) and put back in the reliable phillips 50watters as you dont want to be replacing them every two minutes when access is so poor :mad2:
  11. All the best Ian....hope you have had a good day
  12. Only 46,000 miles and the leather seats are shot  We can post up our comments all we like, but seeing the cars we write upon in the flesh and getting down and dirty with them is the only way
  13. I have an autowatch, and I dont have any bother from it now. When it was first fitted it kept going off but a new something or other from my guy and it as been faultless ever since. No issues with door locking at my end, dont know if that's a helpful post from me or not, more of a FYI one :tongue_smilie:
  14. I read up and with my fingers crossed I think this colder type should be ok for what I am adding, not sure about the gap though, I have taken your comments on board and will pay attention to it when I get round to fitting. Yes that is the full plug number. Many thanks
  15. Selling a car and unless I have missed it does not put up the year :crying: And for more pics and info you have to ask, put the info and pics there for all to see, is it too much trouble:confused1:
  16. If he cannot shift that for £800 then there is something else not quite right. The manual box is the most sought after item on the car, he would of been better highlighting that than the engine  Just down the road Preston from me, 20mins.
  17. I own my own phone, not a smart phone but a w995 Ericsson, superb for me. I just pay vodafone £10.00 a month for a freedom freebie pack and I get 100mins and 300 text and some web access time, I always have plenty left after the 30 days. I can email from it if I so wish and browse the net. My wife and daughter have iphones and pay around £40.00 monthly, that's some difference over the year
  18. Welcome along, there seems to be quite a few members in the North East these days
  19. I have Iridiums BKR8EIX ready to go in my TT, heartening I might have chosen well with what HollowPoint as said  We shall see!!!
  20. You just snap all the kits multi plugs together and connect the two spades to your vehicle multi plug each side that pops onto your stock bulbs. You do need the ballasts, if that's your query :cool3:
  21. There are some on Ebay :cool3: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190583648679?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Considerably cheaper no doubt but after having the Merc of mine over 5 years it's a bit late in the day for me to get one now!!!
  22. Why not Megward, or is it? Is it just Meg for short
  23. Have I to post 'I cannot see it' to wind you up
