led sidelights brighter please!
Glad you are happy guys, when I do link it is only a quick look, up to you to shop around and search for the cheapest. I will say this though the smd's do fail so in a bit instead of all 5 working you may end up with 3 and one of them might be flickering!!! You still get plenty of brightness even though some are 'out'. Suggest as they are so cheap, always have some spare....I have a box full

really awful crash on the M5
It will never come in to force as it will be unpopular for any government but passing your test at 17 and 3 months like I did and then no other test or freshener course until I am 70 is just plain wrong, if not a reckless policy. Driving to me is easy , any conditions does not phase me but to some they find it difficult, uncomfortable with it in fact, how some pass their test is beyond me  The public should have to take their test every 10 years, just a quick competent one is all we need and must include some motorway driving, an examiner just needs 15 mins with you, sure this will remove 5% at least of drivers and will ensure they have to undergo some instruction to be competent and to pass once more. Looking at the M5 footage, I am going to say that a vehicle or vehicles joining the motorway as caused this. Often they fly up these sliproads and bully their way in causing folk to brake, 'I must get in the 3rd lane as quick as possible mentality'.

led sidelights brighter please!
These seem the brightest T10's I have ever had http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2PCS-Xenon-White-SMD-LED-Car-Side-Ligh-Bulb-T10-501-W5W-/260755736280?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb640c6d8 If you want brighter you need the 21 watt reverse or indicator bulb holders if you make your hole bigger then you can use these bulbs, same as what I have in my sig pic http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-BA15S-1156-T25-White-36-LED-Car-Tail-Light-Bulb-Lamp-/220858239410?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item336c2d49b2

Front indicators
If it's a JDM it may well have the wiring/bulb holder in the corner as the idea was for the light in the indicator housing to come on when you indicated that particular side  Mine did but I could not get them to work so I just wired into the sidelight wires in the front fogs, I have kept my sidelights here, as well as the bright LED sidelights which gives the Z a nice wide looking front stance which are also visible side on

Rear foglight advice
My Zedwizz LED set up fogs are 32mm away from the stop lamp surface, a bit anal to be pulled aside for this but eh we get this a lot in life nowadays  As long as I know that a bit of tape will easily increase the gap whenever up to 100mm then I sleep comfortably
-
Rear foglight advice
No, not take it apart, just crudely apply black insulation tape on the outside anywhere you like to make the lense gaps 100mm, as long as the examiner is happy who cares, have some ready in your pocket, then just rip it off when you get home

snow in about 2 week's
Sad times for me I am afraid as I have just the one day left tomorrow to enjoy the Zed, already sorned it from Nov 1st onwards :crying: Voluntarily putting it in my garage for engine mods over the winter so the snow will not bother me one little bit. On the plus side our German Shepherd loves the snow also, eating it mainly, but not the yellow stuff :tt2: she'd eat it but I don't let her :tt2:

Rear foglight advice
That could be very true but our brake light area is vast and so for the one day we could black tape/mask the inner part of the lens to make the gap 100mm :thumbup1: Of course once through the test we can remove said masking but this will not stop a really really picky traffic cop pulling us in for a roadside little chat :surrender:

What ECU's fit what models/versions/years?
To say I am disappointed is an understatement, I was looking forward and am quite partial to a dibdab  Have you any spangles as an alternative

Rear foglight advice
Yes reading through the above it does make his set up a MOT fail. Very interesting I will have to tell my friend. The LED Zedwizz ones were £12.50 a corner the last I looked so a bit of an outlay but in my humble opinion the best way :cool3: Here are mine fit well over a year ago, but prepare yourself for blurry vision but you get the idea: The fog lights on the top The reverse on the bottom

Don't know for sure but I am going to post anyway, I didn't post earlier and I did know all the answers as I am not too keen on Robinsons Blackcurrant :whistling: Mine is a series IV dated Nov 1994 and looking at your dates this would tie in nicely with the 94/10 one for a start date :cool3:

Rear foglight advice
I wouldn't of thought a LED bulb will be brighter than your red 21w filament bulb, as long as it satisfied for the MOT I wouldn't worry about it. I had the same as you and just for the one day I had a working fog light, just spaded with wires coming from the cabin switch, then went back to both chambers as reverse. I now have the complete reverse and fog led's from Zedwizz. My friends worked well the other day, when the fog lights were on, this took over the outer bulbs on both sides of the rear lights, brakes and tail then worked as normal on the inner ones. With no fog lights on, all tail and all four brake lights lit up as stock
